Addie woke up at about 5:00 pm and I was still catching up with today's society.
"Morning Erik" I heard Addie say.
I looked up from the screen and said, "afternoon Addie."
"Been nosey on my phone I see" she said walking over to sit next to me.
"Got to catch up with the world somehow," I said giving her phone back, "did you have a good nap?"
"It was decent," she replied, "would've been better if you were with me."
"Unlike you Addie Long, I don't take naps in the middle of the day," I said putting my arm around her waist bringing her closer to me.
"I only fell asleep because those rehearsals were boring as fu-" I cut her off with a look saying 'don't even think about it' "as hell" she re-phrased.
"Better," I said smiling, "but yes, watching rehearsals are rather boring."
"I think I'm going to stay down here with you from now on," she said laying her head on my shoulder.
"Good," I said resting my head on hers, "because I miss you very much when you are not around."
She hummed in reply.
"Katelyn and (Y/N) called earlier," I said breaking the silence.
"What did they say?" She asked lifting her head up.
"They said that they are coming to visit us and they are bringing a surprise with them," I told her.
"Can't wait!" She said smiling.
(Time skip)
Today was the day that Addie's friends would arrive, so while we waited myself and Addie were watching funny kid fails on YouTube. We just finished watching the one with a baby how managed to get a doughnut looking thing in its mouth just by hitting their hand on the table when Addie's friends called.
"We're here" I heard Katelyn say.
"I'll be there in a few minutes," I told them.
"Ok," Katelyn said hanging up.
"I'll be back soon Angel," I said giving her a quick kiss before leaving on the boat to get her friends.
When we got back, Addie wasn't there.
"Addie, we're back!" I shouted.
"Bedroom!" I heard her shout back.
When I got the boat to the edge of the lake, I helped the girls out of the boat and told them to make themselves comfortable while I went to see if Addie needed anything. I walked into the bedroom to see Addie in the same dress she was in when we first met.
