Chapter 1 The Beginning

--Chapter 1--

••I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I opened my eyes and remembered that I have to go to school. I got up from the bunk bed that me and my friend Demi share. She sleeps on the top bed and I sleep on the bottom. I don't like the top bed because I feel like I'm going to fall while I'm sleeping. I know that sounds dumb.

"Demi wake up we have to go to school! "I said with a sleepy face while tapping on her shoulder".

She turned around to look at me and gave me an annoyed face.

"Wake me up in 10 more minutes. "She said while sighing".

"No we can't be late because the last time we were late we got a detention for Saturday morning. "I said with a pissed off face".

"Ugh fine I'll get the fuck up from bed.

We got dressed. Demi was wearing a black skirt with a black tank top and some black converse. She felt like wearing black today. She's not goth though. I was wearing black shorts, a white sweater over my shirt and white converse. Demi curled her red hair and put it into a big bun. I made my hair into a messy bun.

~~~~~Selena's POV~~~~~

••I look up to the bathroom mirror and see myself. Demi's making breakfast downstairs. I suddenly start to cry.

"Why do those girls always have to fucking pick on me. " I said with a sad face."

"They say I'm ugly and don't deserve to live and that I don't have a good body. "I said while splashing my face with water and crying".

I wipe my face with my towel and look up in the mirror again.

"Don't let those mean girls make you upset for who you are. "I said whispering to myself".

I walk away while wiping my tears with my hands. I go downstairs and smell aroma of what Demi's cooking.

"Hey Selena I made you some eggs with bacon. "Sit your ass down here and eat. "Demi said while laughing at what she said".

"Oh good you made breakfast. What a surprise. "I said with a sarcastically astonished face".

"Hey it's not my fault I'm lazy. "She said while giggling.

I rolled my eyes and laughed. We sat down to eat. After we were done eating we went outside. We got in our car and took off.

~~~~~10 Minutes Later~~~~~

"So Selena are you still mad about what those mean girls have been saying about you or did you get over it? "She said with a soft tone".

I stayed silent for a minute. I was hurting in the inside and thinking about the nasty words they said. I wanted to cry and scream but I held it in. Then I finally spoke.

"I'm hurting so much because of them. "I hate those stupid bitches! "They make me fell like I'm worthless and have nothing left of me. "I yelled out".

"Don't let them get to you Selena. All they want to do is make you feel worthless and weak and I know your not. "Demi said with a worried face".

"And there winning Demi because that's exactly what their making feel like. There making feel like a worthless piece of shit. "I said with a delicate face".

"No don't say that. "Your not a worthless piece of shit. "Demi said".

"Your better than that. Your beautiful smart and kind. She said while smiling.

I turned my head around to face Demi.

"Thanks Demi. I said while smiling at her back.

She smiled back. After 5 minutes of talking we finally got to school.
