Chapter 4 Traveling

----Chapter 4-----

••Me and Demi got to our apartment and started packing our suitcases. We folded our clothes and put it in the suitcase. I was so happy to get the fuck out of here. Finally a new life somewhere else. I grab the final thing to put in my suitcase which is my jeans.

"Demi are you ready? I shouted across the hallway of our apartment.

"I'm ready. Shouted Demi across the hallway.

I grabbed the zipper and zipped my suitcase. After i'm done I grab it and head out to the hallway. I see Demi doing the same as well. It's 5:30 in the afternoon and it was starting to get dark.

"Demi let's head out because it's starting to get dark. I said.

"Kk. Said Demi.

I got the car keys and grabbed 2 water bottles for me and Demi. We headed out the door. As soon as I headed out the door I was staring to remember all those memories me and Demi spent in the apartment and at school. We finally were out the door and Demi locked the apartment door. Demi has 2 suitcases and I only have 1 suitcase. I really don't need a lot of stuff. We put the suitcases in the back of the trunk. We have to take turns so Demi will drive the first day and I'll drive the second day. We got into the car and Demi turned on the radio to blast. The song that was playing is called "Locked out of Heaven by Bruno Mars.

"Turn it down please. I said stubbornly.

"Ahh fine, your no fun. Said Demi.

I take out my phone and listen to some music with my headphones. I feel sad because I'm leaving behind the love of my life which is my crush. I'm going to miss James. But I'm the one who mostly wanted to get the fuck out of here. So their's no turning back now. The music that I'm listening to makes me want to go to sleep for some reason even though it's pop. I notice that my eyes wanted to shut tight and sleep. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

~~~~~Demi's POV~~~~~

I noticed that Selena went to sleep as soon as I stopped at a red light. There's 1 more day until we get to California. It's 7:36 pm. About 2 hours passed since Selena was asleep. She must be really tired. I don't blame her after all she did stay up late until 2:00 to finish that project that she had left at home. So she got an F. So basically she stayed up late for nothing. I'm kinda getting sleepy of driving. I think I'm going to stop at a gasoline station to rest a little. I see the exit number to go the gasoline station. The exit number is 5. I'm passing through exit 4. I hate driving on the highway. I finally see exit 5 and head towards it. I see the gasoline station it's red. I park my car there and stop the car.

~~~~~Selena's POV~~~~~

I hear Demi stop the car. I guess she's resting.

"Phew I'm finally resting from the 2 hour drive so far. Said Demi.

I hear her voice and lift up my head to look at Demi.

"Ugh how many hours do we have left. I said.

"We don't have hours left we have about 1 day. Demi said giggling.

"Ahh shit. I said.

"Now that we're here we might as well fill up the tank with gasoline. I grabbed $10 out of my purse and handed it to Demi.

"Here fill it all the way up so we don't stay in the middle of the street. I said laughing.

"Haha okay. Said Demi.

Demi went to put gasoline. I stayed in the car. I can see the moon and the stars from my view. I can tell its a crescent moon. Demi came back and got in the car.

"I'm done. "Said Demi with a relieved face.

"Great, should we get going now? I said.

"Yep. Demi said.

We drove away and we're back to driving.
