Uso's hand gripped tighter on her pecha berry juice as Quinine attempted to knock over the glass, she looked around the table at the group they'd managed to round up to be underground idols. Uso inconspicuously caught a glance of each person as she closed one of her topaz eyes and tried to hide the fact she was staring at each of them and their Pokemon. She looked at Kari, letting a small smile slip from behind the cloudy pink juice as she observed Kari's Pokemon playing with his earrings. Uso almost choked on the juice as she saw Regina attempt to pull the earring out, causing Uso to let out a not so subtle snort. Haruka shot a glare at Uso for a moment as she did, Uso swiftly looked away and slowly placed the juice back on the table as she looked over at Sigmund- the newest addition to the group. Uso's gaze narrowed as she looked at him, leaning her head sideways on her hand as she practically displayed the fact she was staring at him. Kari seemed to completely trust the new recruit, however Uso wasn't sure. Uso didn't like Haruka as a person, but at least the feeling was mutual and they both understood that, and even so- Haruka seemed loyal enough. Sigmund, on the other hand, seemed rather friendly, talkative even- too talkative, even more so than Kari. He almost seemed too chatty at points, almost like he was attempting to get out information. It put Uso on edge. Eventually, the sound of Sigmund's voice invaded the underground as he fixed his gaze on Uso- who was clearly staring at this point.
"Let me guess, Tsuki," He began, straightening his posture a little as Haruka blinked at the sudden noise. "You're trying to figure out why I'm here, why I want to join you. I can see it in the way your eye is twitching, the way you took slow but small sips. You don't trust me, do yo-" Before he could continue Uso interrupted him, this conversation suddenly peaking the interest of Quinine.
"So? What if I don't trust you?" Uso looked at her nails as she spoke, expecting a small ramble to come out of the boy. He leaned in slightly, looking straight at Uso.
"Oh, it really makes no difference. Eventually, no matter how much you try to reject the idea you cannot deny that destiny brought us all to this underground. We're like stars, however... every star is part of a constellation and I'm starting to believe all of us in this room are part of the same one." Sigmund started, his gaze was locked firmly put his eyes seemed lost- distant even.
"I swear to Arceus if this goes into a friendship speech I'm leaving." Haruka huffed quietly as she flicked an Oran berry to Hell Castle, who ate it quickly.
"Haruka, if you leave again I'll smash your guitar and create you some bongos out of the dead carcass of your 'midnight panthos' or whatever you call it." Uso muttered sharply, causing a death stare to shoot her way from Haruka and her Pokemon- but Uso simply shifted her attention over to Sigmund. "Alright, tell me- why do you want to be an idol?"
"Oh, I don't really. However, if fate has lead me to this planetarium of conspiracy then perhaps this place is that'll allow me to achieve my ultimate dream. To become the Ultimate detecti-" His Absol, Antares, softly nudged him with their muzzle- causing Sigmund to open his eyes, no one was really paying attention.
"Do you ever stop talking, Horoscope?" Haruka sighed, turning around and actually engaging in the conversation for a few seconds. "Since Ribbons would prefer to beat around the bush, I'll tell it to you straight. You can't be trusted yet. You can say whatever you like about stars and keep bluffing and lying but it won't work here. Got that?" Haruka then stood up and went off to practice, followed by her Pokemon- she couldn't stand being around those people any longer. But just as she was about to leave, she turned around one last time and looked at the group- specifically Uso. "Also, I know this might be hard for you to understand with your limited understanding of your partners, Ribbons, but Master of Doom seems to trust the guy. Oh yeah, also turn My Midnight Pathos into Bongos and I will smash your head in with said bongos."
"And I will personally force my way out of hell to possess the Midnight Pathos Bongos and make them incredibly out of tune." Uso grimaced, clenching her fists as she looked up at Haruka with a look of complete hatred.
"It's not 'Midnight Panthos', it's 'My Midnight Panthos'." Haruka's glare sharpened as her voice became icy and bitter.
"Are you sure it's 'Haruka' and not 'Haha look at me I'm an unnecessarily picky piece of crap'?" Uso stood up, looking over at Haruka- Sigmund was noticeably starting to shuffle uncomfortably.
"Funny for you of all people to make fun of someone's name, Little Miss Liar. Did your parents hate you or something?" Haruka crossed her arms as she made that comment, there was a moment of silence as a lingering aggression seemed to flood the room and suffocate everyone there.
"...I have so many Pokemon in the PC, y'know." Uso quietly spat at Haruka, complete resentment in her voice. Kari looked over at Sigmund, who seemed to be shaking slightly as the two fought. "All of them have sat there for up to 7 years now, I've never taken them out since they evolved-"
"What is your problem?! Do you despise natural change or something? You're a cruel, disgusting monster." Haruka growled back, Sigmund was mumbling something under his breath as he trembled- growing slightly pale. His Absol looking very concerned at this point.
"You have no right to comment on something that you have no clue about!" Uso yelled out, her breaths rapidly rising and falling as aggression pumped through her body- Quinine jumping a little at the noise. There was a long pause of silence before a faint quivering noise could be heard near the table.
"P-please... p-please... just stop fighting." Sigmund whimpered, Kari's eyes were wide with concern as he attempted to calm down the boy.
"H-hey, it's... they're just joking with each other! They don't mean any of it, I promise you- hey... Sig? It's okay... you're fine... everything is fine..." Kari whispered, a little on edge as he gently ruffled his painted nails through Sigmund's hair. Regina quiet for once as the Gothita simply looked up at Sigmund confused and concerned.
"I wasn't joking." Both Uso and Haruka harmonized at the same time before they simply shot each other one last death stare before Haruka and her Pokemon went off to practice. Uso sat back down at the table and simply looked over at Sigmund.
"So this is what you're really like, huh?" Uso bluntly muttered, Kari shot a glance up at her- an incredibly annoyed expression on his face.
"H-Huh..?" Sigmund looked up at Uso, trying to regain his posture and usual character.
"Alright, let me dish you some serious life advice 'buddy'," Uso stood up once again, looking down at the new idol as she brushed the dust off of herself. "People and Pokemon will fight, there's no preventing it. And if you find yourself getting like this after one stupid fight then I wonder how you'll act if the twins enforce even more dumb rules. Maybe you're not cut out to be an underground idol if you cannot handle stuff like this." Uso narrowed her topaz gaze, crossing her arms as Quinine hopped onto her shoulder. "Which would be a shame, as I had heard about an amazing, wonderful detective with experience in contests... But I guess Kari got the wrong guy." Uso then exited the underground, leaving Sigmund speechless next to Kari as the silence revolted against the usual singing or arguing that went on in the underground.
