As darkness closed in around me, the only thing I could hear was the pounding of my heart. I shook in fear as I pressed myself into a tight ball in the corner of an abandoned room, trying to hide. From what? Not what, who. From Who? Chris. Well, it's not him. It is but it isn't. Confusing? Very. Something or one has taken over his body. How? No idea. I heard footsteps come close to the room I was hiding in. I held my breath and squeezed into a tighter ball. The door opened and a tall figure walked in. Chris, no, that...thing..looked around and I scooted back as far as I could to keep from being seen. I guess it didn't notice me so it left. I waited for my heart to calm down before I moved. I crept over to the door and stuck my ear to it and listened. I heard a creak come from upstairs. I opened the door as quietly as I could. It squeaked and I paused. I didn't hear anything so I stuck my head out the door and looked around. Seeing nothing, I slipped through the crack and walked slowly towards the stairs. Checking behind me, I carefully crept down the stairs and searched the living room for anything. Nothing was there, so I started for the door. As I reached for the knob, I was grabbed from behind suddenly, ripping a scream from my throat. "LET ME GO!" I yelled, trying to struggle out of it's grasp, but it was too strong. It pulled me towards the basement. I struggled harder but it just laughed at my useless attempts at freedom. I kicked it in it's shim, causing it to stumble. I took that chance and broke free, running back to the door, but it captured me before I made it. It picked me up and walked to the basement. It opened the door without touching it and through me down the stairs. I landed at the bottom with a thud and blacked out.
