I awoke with a start, breathing heavily. Chris was on top of me. I sat up quickly and pressed myself against the headboard. Wait, headboard? I looked around, jerking my head left and right. The scenery was different. I wasn't in the basement of an abandoned house laying on the floor. Instead I was in my room laying on my bed. I turned my head and looked at Chris. His eyes weren't black. They were a chocolatey brown color and were filled with concern. I slowed my breathing and calmed my heart down. "Nightmares again?" He asked. I nodded and he pulled me into his arms. I curled up and tried to dtop the tears from forming. They fell anyways. "Wanna tell me about it?" He asked. I nodded my head 'no'. "I'm not gonna push you into telling me, but I really wish you would tell me." He said, pulling away just enough to look at me. After a few moments, I told him "It's stupid really." He shook his head and said "If it has had you in tears for the past four nights, then it's not stupid. I really wanna know what's been upsetting you." I took a deep breath. "It's been different every night. It's all connected though. It's like where the last dream left off, the next one picks up. In the past two dreams, I was being chased through an abandoned house. In the last dream, I was finally caught. It caught me and brought me to the basement of the house and threw me down the steps. I blacked out and that's when I woke up." I explained, trying to not allow more tears to fall. He hugged me to his chest. I wrapped my arms around and he rocke us gently. The motion caused me to fall alseep after a few minutes.
