Feelings

"Sooo, were are we going?" You asked Cameron.
"I told you,it's a surprise." He answered and gave you a kiss.
You and Cameron weren't a couple but you wish you were. He was the perfect type of guy, kind and caring. Funny and romantic. He was everything in one. Even tho you were best friends since primary school.
" I'm thankful for everything you did for me, Y/N"  he told you, concentrating on the road while he was driving.
"So there's this girl, she's perfect, but I don't know how to tell her everything I feel without panicking." He said shortly after.
"I think you should tell her you know, every girl in school likes you in some kind of way, so just go for it." you told him.
Shortly after you arrived at a playground.
"Remember this place Y/N?" Cameron asked you.
"I could never forget this place, it's where we met, where we became friends, wow." You said.
You sat on the swings as you were bringing up beautiful childhood memories.
"Look over there, it's the sandbox where I buried your legs in  and you couldn't come out, till you started dancing around."
"And look over there Y/N it's the slide where we used to climb on because we thought that was cooler than just slide down." Cameron replied.
"OMG, rember when it was waaaayy too hot so we just let water run down the slide with us so it's not burning?" You said and both of you started laughing.
"We have a looooong way behind us, don't we Y/N?"
"Yeah, a beautiful long way. I'm always going to miss those days."
"Same, look at us, it's our Senior year and we sit on swings in a playground we used to play when we were in first grade, isn't that funny."
"I actually think it's kinda cute tho." You said and smiled over to Cameron.
You sat on the swings a little longer when you decided to go for a walk around the neighborhood. You walked outside of a Junior party and you both had to laugh about the same memory. Your first junior party. Where you got drunk and Cameron took care of you so you didn't do stupid shit around there, you still were glad Cameron took so well care of you because if he didn't, yoy would still wouldn't be allowed to go out of the house.
"I am so glad you were there." You said and Cameron knew from the first second on what you were talking about, he smirked at you.
You knew you had feelings for Cameron a long time now, but you never told him anything because you didn't want to ruin the friendship, Cameron had a girlfriend around the time you caught feelings for him but he was never a person who talks open about feelings. You were even glad he told yoh about this mystery girl in the car, he usually never does that.
You walked past the Party to on your way to the beach that was near this neighborhood.
"So, wanna tell me more about this girl? Do I know her? Is she pretty? How long have you had feelings for her?" You asked Cameron.
"First of all, slow down, and you are asking too much, you know I hate talking about that.
But yeah, you know her, she is pretty and I've had feelings for her for a long time now." He told you.
"Do you plan telling her what you feel?"
"I don't know how to, Y/N." He said while looking at the ground.
By that time you also arrived at the beach and started walking on the sand.
"What about you just pretend I'm this girl? I mean, as a girl I could tell you if she would like that."
"Nahh I don't think so Y/N."
"Ohh yes you do, just pretend, everything will be fine, this girl isn't here right now, so she can't hear if anything goes wrong."
"Okay fine." Cameron finally said and started talking just like he was talking to this girl.
"Sooo, Hey, I don't know how to start this, we've known each other for a long time now and I think you are beautiful, I'm in love with your smile, and your eyes and the way you talk. I act so much different when I see other guys around you and I feel like, if you want, to try and be something more than just friends." Cameron stopped walking and looked you in the eyes.
" Wow, Cam this was perfect, you should tell her that."
He stopped walking and you could telk we was weaker because he started looking at the ground while he held your hands.
" I just did. Y/N I have loved you for a long time now, you should know that, I just didn't want to ruin the friendship. " He told you.
"You didn't, because I have felt the same way and just tried to hide it, I love you too Cameron, I would love to try it out." You said while he grabbed your waist and kissed you.
