The Surprise

Ross POV
Megan started to cry and I didn't want her to so I am embraced her in a hug and wiped away her tears. "Remember when we outside by the pool." "Yea." She sniffled. "You promised you would never leave." "Ugh.. Ross I just don't know what to do anymore." "Listen Ross we'll talk about this later."

Fast forward to the morning

I woke up to see the moon shining bright into my room. "Uhh...what time is it?" I checked the clock to see it was 5 am. I put the pillow over my head but I couldn't fall back asleep. All I could think about was how to keep Megan here...with me..with everyone. Then I had an idea. I grabbed my guitar my note book and my pick. I quietly ran downstairs out to the pool. I sat down on one of the beach chairs and I began writing a song for my best friend.

Rydel POV

I woke up to see Meg sound asleep on the air mattress. I wonder how her conversation with Ross went. I'm surprised I woke up so early it was 8:30. I walked down stairs with my journal. When I opened the fridge to make me a smoothie I heard someone sleep talking. I walked over to the couch but no one was there, it was coming from outside. Ross was asleep on one of the beach chairs. I started cracking up, why is he outside in the first place? But my laughter broke when he started saying. "Stay with me." "I want you to stay with me." It sounded like he was up last night writing a song. His notebook was on the ground next to him he wrote the chorus he just needed the rest. It was amazing I couldn't believe he did this. "Ross!!" "Hm." "Ross wake up!!!!" "Uh...what Rydel." "This song did u write it?!" "Mhm.." "I just...*yawn* need your guys help with the rest." "Who's it for?!" Since he wasn't waking up I went back into the kitchen and got a glass of ice cold water and ran back out to where Ross was. I'm going to regret this I thought. As soon I splashed the water on his face he woke up and gave me a look that said your dead. "Rydel.." I didn't say anything I just ran for my life."Ross that was the only way to wake you up!" "Listen we can get the band together to finish your song." "Who's the song for?!" "Someone." He blushed. "Is it for Meg?!" I whisper shouted. He put his hand over my mouth. "Be quite Rydel!" "Sorry." "But she's not going anywhere Ross." "She didn't want me to say anything but her parents are moving to Utah and she wants to go with them." "I pushed myself away from her, I did this." "Ross it's not your fault listen do you think you can finish the song by tonight? "I'm not sure maybe." "We can have a small party here, and we can sing your song." "Ok once everyone wakes up I'll tell them the whole plan." "But what are we going to do about Megan?!" "I can take her shopping, while you guys finish the song." I suggested. "Ok sounds good." As I started to walk away I stopped and turned around to ask Ross something. "Ross?" "Yea?" "Do you have feelings for Megan?" He didn't answer me for a while. "Yea...yea I do."
