Blaire casually opened my locked door and walked through. I looked behind me in surprise, then shrugged when I realized it wasn't important. Arden was up and running but I refused to let him leave.

He was sitting on a couch so he had a perfect view of Blaire. He immediately got up to inspect him.

Blaire smiled. "The Prince of Fish."

Arden nodded and extended a hand. "I am Arden. I did not have the pleasure to meet you yesterday. Forgive me."

They shook hands. "I like him," Blaire whispered. Arden acted as if he hadn't heard it and walked back to the couch.

"I heard about the plan," said Arden. "I appreciate everyone trying to help me but I don't need it. If I can't do this, I am a failure as a prince."

"Who cares?" Snickered Blaire. "Stop being prideful and accept our help."

Arden sighed. "I guess some help every few centuries isn't a big deal.'

I looked at them bond and I realized that was Arden's specialty. He bonded with everyone surprisingly. Maybe it's a princely duty?

I watched him talk happily to each of my mates who gathered for the execution of the plan. Everyone was there except for Kevin.

I walked over to him. "Will you really be able to bring us all underwater? What if you're tired?"

Arden forced a smile. I smacked his arm. "Don't act fake around me! I know you, so act like yourself and tell me the truth, not what I want to hear."

He sighed in defeat. "I admit it will be a bit taxing but water can rejuvenate me. I'll gain more strength underwater and I promise to fulfill my duty."

"Prince," muttered Bristle. Kyle only raised an eyebrow at Arden's speech.

"That's a real prince," Blaire said with respect.

I could tell they'll be great friends.

"Let's go," said Danielle.

"Why is the girl coming?" Asked Daniel.

Danielle glared at him. "The girl can go wherever she wants."

"I don't mind. Let's go," Arden said. We exited and followed Arden to the familiar pedestrian bridge.

"I come here all the time," I exclaimed. "How come only recently you found me?"

Arden didn't move his gaze from the water. "I had to many fishly duties to take care of with my father gone to pursue love. I was near the surface and I sensed you."

Blaire stiffened. "Your father left you in charge? For how long?"

"Around a century."

"HEH?" Blaire smacked his forehead. "No!"

Arden nodded and jumped in the water. I followed without hesitation. I landed underwater and swam to the surface with Arden following. I saw everyone else following my lead.

"What next, fish?" Asked Kyle. Arden smiled. He used water to pull us underwater and made a giant air bubble.

"Whoa!" Exclaimed Danielle as we entered the bubble.

They looked around in surprise.

Kyle grabbed my hand. "This is exhilarating!"

"Wait until Arden brings us into his kingdom," I said.
