I cant wait till I'm 18. ILL finally be able to get out of this horrible place. I live in a adoption home. I'm 13 and no one wants a teenager.
If only my mother hadn't died 2 years ago i wouldn't have ended up here. today we have a couple adopting a kid. Everyone always wants the little kids.
I'm the oldest in this place. so my chance of being wanted is smaller than anyone else. The youngest is baby Lexi. Shes adorable but i don't think shell be here very long.
She is only 5 months old. But shes my favorite. Then we have Aubrey who is 3 shes my second favorite the rest i could care less about.
The time is 5:00 witch is when i was supposed to be in the auditorium. That's were we meet up for the adoption. I grab nice clothes and run to the auditorium.
Lexi is still in her crib so I take her with me. It's either mine or Hannah's job to get Lexi for these things. Hannah is the adoption lady.
She's in charge of us. I really don't like her. But I have to deal with it. When I get to the auditorium I see a young lady and a man patiently waiting.
I set Lexi in her plat pin at I notice the couple watching me but I ignore them. I grab Lexis blanket and her toy and give it to her. She giggles and the couple laughs.
I know they want her. I walk over to the couple and tell them welcome and show them Lexi. It's very clear they love her.
I tell them her likes her dislikes and how long she's been here it's been four months and she's like my little sister or maybe even my daughter.
I really don't want her to go but she deserves a home with a loving family. So I pick her up and hand her to the woman.
She smiles and says I want this one. I'm sad but I say OK and go get Hannah who is late again. She grabs adoption papers and I offer to hold Lexi while they sign them.
I hold Lexi and whisper I love you to her. The couple hears me but I don't care. I go upstairs and grab Lexis belongings and take them down to them.
The couple says thank you and the mother hugs me. She gives me her number so she can keep me updated on Lexi. I'm very thankful for that. The mother tells me thank you for caring so much about Lexi.
I tell there your welcome and kiss Lexi on the cheek and say goodbye. She coos and it makes me laugh.
"Goodbye peanut" I tell her and I hand her back to the girl. I wave as I watch them get in the car and drive away. As soon as they leave I break down into tears.
I'm going to miss her. More than I ever will miss anyone. To be honest Lexi was the only thing that kept me happy. Without her I sense the next six or so years are going to be very hard.
I walk back inside and go find Aubrey. She is playing in the play room. She Loves baby dolls. It's the only toy she really plays with.
My mom said I loved baby dolls as well so maybe it's just a girl thing. I sit next to her and talk to her. I talk to her about my day and I only really tell her the good or funny parts but she enjoys my company.
I think we both enjoy each others company. Aubrey is turning 4 in January. It's October right now. On kids birthdays we have a small party.
I plan most of it and Hannah takes the credit. That's why I don't like her. For Aubrey's party we are having it Minnie Mouse themed. She loves Minnie Mouse.
On my 13th birthday I had it monkey themed. Everything was covered in monkeys. It was an amazing birthday. I'll never forget it. My birthday is in May. But no one really cared anyway.
"Aubrey, Ali dinner time" says Hannah "go get washed up. I do then I eat dinner and come back down stairs. Oh did I forget to mention I'm obsessed with O2L.
There my favorite youtouber's. I just wish I could meet them. I hear Aubrey coming in our room and she sits on the bed. I pick her up and put her next to me.
I play the newest O2L video and Aubrey starts laughing. She also loves them but I don't think she understands as much though.
The newest video is all 6 of them. (Yes I know Connor left but let me keep him in the story) the video is titles "surprise" I watch them do the intro then talk for a bit before they announce the surprise. "We're adopting a daughter!"
I hear Connor shout. What! "We're adopting her from the California adoption agency. She will be around the age of 13-15 I gasp, I'm in the California adoption agency and I'm 13-15!
I could get adopted by O2L!
