It was a dark and cloudy night, you couldn't even see the stars and the moon. The TV came on by itself and turned to the news. It stated that there was a killer on the loose, the last victim was found in the woods, being eaten up by wolves, there was blood and body parts everywhere, and a knife was found behind a tree. A detective, named Jack, decided to look into the case. Detective Jack looked in the victim's case file and found out that the young victim was in her 20s, her birthday was proved to be occurring the next week, she was walking from her friend's house, on her way to her's, and that the victim's name was Maggy.
Detective Jack inspected the body and looked at the detective beside him, detective Rogger, and said "I will tell her mother the news about her daughter". Detective Rogger said "Good luck doing that", he made a sarcastic grin. Detective Jack questioned Detective Rogger "What do you mean?" Detective Rogger said "Haven't you read Maggy's file?" Detective Jack said "Yes I did, I checked it 3 times it said she had a mother and it gave me her address".
Jack had a shocked and confusing look on his face. Detective Rogger shook his head, looked at the ground and slowly picked it up to look Jack in the eyes. Detective Rogger said "I don't know what file you looked in but, she doesn't have a mom or a dad. She has no siblings, no cousins, no aunts, no pets, she has no one." "It's like she doesn't exist, she has no history of ever having a family or being born."
Detective Jack looked startled, he stayed silent then finally spoke. "Y... You mean she could be fake or something else?" Detective Rogger said "what do you mean by "something else"?" Detective Jack said "You know like, not human" Jack shrugged and so did Rogger. Detective Rogger finally said "Well, I better get going to the Police Station, I'll see you later." Detective Jack said "ok see you later."
