Taka sat on the bus, alone in a seat. No one usually liked to sit by him I guess. People always thought he was too uptight. It was the first day at a new school, he was used to it. He didn't expect to make any friends. He just wanted to get through the school year, with good grades of course.
"Hey, can I sit here?"
A gruff voice spoke. Taka glanced up, seeing a boy around his age. "Oh, yes of course!" The boy groaned and slumped down on the seat. They both sat awkwardly, wondering if they should make conversation.
"So," the other boy spoke. "Do you have a name or something?" "Huh?" "Is that a no?" "Oh, uh- Kiyotaka Ishimaru! But you can call be Taka." Taka said, sitting up straight. "Hm. Mondo Owada." "Well, nice to meet you Owada!"
"Tch."
"Call me Mondo."
"Oh.. Okay, Mondo!"
Mondo turned away, blushing. They finally reached the school, standing up to get off of the bus. "Well.. I hope I'll see you again, Taka." "Same to you, Mondo!"
