Taka looked at a note that had been slid under his door.
He knew what was going to happen. Maybe he wanted it to happen though. After that second trial, he could barely even stand living.
It was night, but Taka left his dorm anyways. He met up where he had been told to. It was an empty room. He heard slight footsteps behind him.
"Hey.." The stepping stopped. "I don't know what your motivation to kill is, but.."
"Thank you.."
Taka turned around to see Hifumi hovering over him with a hammer. Hifumi looked slightly confused, lowering the hammer.
"Taka.. Are you okay?"
"Heh.."
"I haven't been this happy in a while."
Hifumi gave a remorseful expression.
"I'll just make this easy." Taka said as he turned around, pretending to not know Hifumi was there. Taka smiled, closing his eyes.
Hifumi sighed, raising up the hammer again. Hifumi closed his eyes.
Smack.
Taka's moments with Mondo and the other students flashed before his eyes.
Before he knew it, everything went black.
It was like he was waking up.. But he was dead? He looked up. He was laying on the floor of a big city. There were lots of people there.
"Taka!" A gruff voice called out.
Taka tried to stand up, seeing two figures run towards him. They looked like..
"Mondo! Chihiro! What are you guys.."
As he glanced around more, he could see some other students. Like Sayaka, Leon, and some other girl he didn't recognize. There were also many other people that he didn't know. Everyone looked so.. Happy. Even Mondo and Chihiro were smiling.
"Taka.. What happened?"
Mondo frowned.
"Who killed you?"
Taka looked confused.
"Oh yeah.. I'm.. Dead?"
Taka remembered what happened earlier. "Oh yeah, it was.. Hifumi."
Mondo looked angry.
Mondo, Taka, and Chihiro all hugged, crying. "I'm so glad we get to see each other again.." Chihiro said.
"Oh yeah, Chihiro.. I'm.. Sorry.." Mondo looked sad. "Aw, I know, it's fine.." Chihiro smiled.
They all caught up on what's been happening and what not.
I guess after all, it was kind of a happy ending. There were even big monitors displaying the killing school lives.
"Ha, this is gonna be a fun trial to watch." Mondo said.
Mondo gave Taka a quick kiss, smiling.
Everyone was happy.
