Rohit sat for sometime in the guest room contemplating all of the events since the previous evening. The smudge in the diary pained him beyond repair. However much he wanted to ask her about it , he just couldn't gather the courage. How could she still smile ? How could she still accept him with open arms ? How could she still care for him after all that he did the previous evening?
He suddenly hears Pooja call him. He leaves his room to reach the dining table .
Naren : Ab kya hua Rohit ?
Rohit : Giving him a stern look . Maine decide kiya hai ki hum Raima ko hospital shift karenge. Have got a deluxe room with 2 extra beds assigned to her so that her parents can stay with her . It will be easier for me also and i can parallelly look at other patients also .
Veena looks at him intensely waiting for him to complete . Was he going to answer the questions she had thrown at him ?
Rohit turns his face around frustrated . I am sorry I lied to you all . This whole relationship thing with Sonakshi started with it being fake .....
Naren : I knew it ...That Son......
Rohit : STOP ..... Looks at Naren with piercing eyes . It started the way it did because I wanted her to fake it with me , not the other way round . It took me 3 whole days to convince her about it . I am not going to hear a single word against her . Looks at Naren sternly yet again . What started as fake turned around into something more real somewhere along the way , without even we realizing it .
The whole family looked rather shocked at him not knowing what to believe .
And then it was me , not her who proposed . ME. Looks at Naren again . And then when Raima came , I was the one who messed it up all over again .
Veena : Mujhe pata tha . Sonakshi itni pyaari jo hai . Suddenly she sees everybody staring at her and decides to stay silent .
Rohit : Now i want to set things right . I am eventually going to marry her ( looks at Naren angrily ) whether somebody likes it or not . I am sorry for all the confusion I created .
Turns around and at looks at YKs mom
Aunty , please dont try to do anything like what you did today with either Raima or Sona . I wont be able to take it calmly the next time .
As he leaves the room , a few people were left in pleasant smiles . Ajit heaves a sigh of relief .
He heads to the room to make sure Raima's shifting is handled right . As the ambulance moves to the hospital ,he drives alongside in his car . Once at the hospital , he makes sure everything is sorted out .He then informs Raima that he needs to go attend to the other patients . He calls her mom and informs her about the shift and lets her know about having made their arrangements to stay with her .
4:00 pm
Rohit calls Ravi to the cabin : Sab ho gaya ? Mil gaya woh ?
Ravi : Sunita ne details nikalwaye . Shankar milke aaya . Usne bola woh aa jaayega .
Rohit : Baaki sab ?
Ravi : Sunita ne bola hai ki woh art director se baat karke set kar degi .
Rohit : Usko pata hai naa . . Ki sonakshi ko kuch bhi pata nahi chalna chahiye ? Ye sab meri taraf se hai ?
Ravi : Haan sir .
Rohit : Hum jaate waqt ek baar jagah dekh ke jaayenge . Thik Hai ? Ravi nods .
Rohit gets up and gives a light hug to Ravi for the first ever time . Thank you . Sunita aur Shankar ko bhi bol dena . Ravi nods smiling .
Rohit finishes his rounds and visits Raima. Sitting next to her on her bed holding her hand .
Rohit : Kaisi ho ? All ok ?
Raima : nods
Rohit : Thats like my good girl . I will be going out for sometime . On my way back I will drop by . You take some rest .
Raima : Rohit . . Woh Yk ki mom keh rahi thi ki .....
Rohit : You need rest Raima . Can we talk about this tomorow .
Raima nods .
Tulsi and Dr Dimpy , I am expecting no negligence from your end . Call me if there is anything at all. Aunty will be here in half an hour Raima . I will see you later .
Goes to her , gives her a reassurance and then leaves.
On their way Rohit goes to the location to check if things have been as per planned . Ravi had assigned 2 people to do the job . Everything looked to his satisfaction.
7:00 pm SET LOCATION
As Sonakshi moves out towards the parking space she sees Rohit in casuals and a hoodie . She smiles.
Sonakshi : Wahh ...Dot on time .
Rohit smiles .
Rohit : Is Netra ji there ? Before Sona could answer he sees Netraji step out of the set area. One minute Sona. Rohit rushes towards her .
Netraji looks at him annoyed .
Rohit : hesistating .. Netraji , I am sorry for this morning . I know I should not have disrupted all your work .
Netraji : Ab kya kar sakte ho Rohit. Jo karna tha woh toh tumne kar diya .
Rohit : I am really sorry . All I can say is I will make sure it never repeats . He stands silently waiting for a response . I know I am impulsive and a few things went all over the place for me and Sonakshi last evening . I needed to sort it out . I know the way I did it was wrong but ....
Netraji : Its ok Rohit . She was very down when she came to the sets this morning . After your visit she had a different contentment on her face. Looks at Sona feeling happy from a distance . Rohit , maine iss ladki ke struggles dekhe hai . Main chaahungi ki tum uska aur uske profession dono ka respect karo . Pyaar hai toh ye sab bhi hona chaahiye . Uska dil bilkul bacche jaisa saanf hai . Dont ever hurt her . She is too precious and you are very lucky . She looks at Rohit sternly and leaves .
Rohit just leaves out a gasp in regret all over again and walks towards Sonakshi , his eyes looking down .
