I scroll through my contacts and call Veronica. The phone rings and rings. "Hello?" She answers. "Veronica! Where are you?" I ask. "Desperate to see me much?" She says. "Not really. I need to talk to you." I say. "Fine. Cafe at eleven." She says then hangs up. I look at the time 10:37. I hop into my car and head that way.

I walk in and see Veronica's blonde hair from a distance. I slide into the seat. "Listen. I'm leaving town." I say. "Why? You can't leave your girlfriend Lizzy pooh behind." She says."I'm no good here. I'll just bring trouble all the vampires and werewolves left ages ago. I need to go to." She rolls her eyes in disbelief. "Okay see you in a week." I glare at her.
"Veronica, I'm being serious. Take care of Elizabeth." She lets out a sigh. "Whatever. I'm not going to." She says. "Then I'll take your necklace away. Expose your wings." I say. She shrugs her shoulders. "Not gonna affect me. I'll find me a dandy witch to make me a new one.
Think. How can I make her protect her. "I'll kill her." I say. She shakes her head. "Your in love with her. Don't deny it. I saw you guys." I glare at her. "I'll feed her my blood. Then snap her little neck." I say. "Your dead. She's deadish." I say.
"You wouldn't." She says. I smile at her. "Oh but I would, and if I figure out you haven't been protecting her and she ends up hurt. I will." I say. I grab my keys and walk out the door. I know she staring at me waiting for me to glance back at her but I don't.

I drive up to my house and walk in. I start grabbing boxes and filling them up with a bunch of random shit. I look at my phone and notice the message from Liz that I haven't opened. It read 'Good morning to you too 😊, and nothing.' I hit reply 'Oh fun?' I hit send and continue to pack.

Bleep! I grab my phone '1 new message from Lizzy Pooh' I opened it. It read 'I guess. Just really bored' I reply back 'Can we hang tonight?' I hit send. I wanna see her one last time before I go. Bleep! I grab my phone. 'Yes I'd love to! See you tonight.' I smile. Good deal.
I pack the last of my things and load them into the moving truck and some in the trunk of my car. Once when we finish loading everything it was around 7:30 I hopped into my car and drove to Elizabeth's house.
I knocked on the door and there was her beautiful face. I smile and she smiles back. No words were spoken just our smiles. Her hand gestures me in and I enter. We go upstairs in her room.
I brush a brown piece of her hair off to the side and lean in to kiss her. I pick her up and sit her on the bed and pull my lips away from hers. I smile at her and push her down on the bed and smash my lips onto hers.
I stop for one second. "I missed you." She says. "I missed you more." I said. "Doubt it. For a guy I just met I felt like I known you my whole life. One day being apart from you killed me." She said. I lean back down and kiss her some more.
"I know I've only been here for 10 minutes but I got to go." I say. "Okay" she says frowning. "I love you Liz... Bye." I whisper. I open the door and close it behind me.
I turned around and Veronica stands right there.
