Starting Over From The Beginning

Chapter 4

*Tasha's POV*

I started heading back towards the school. I had a lot on my mind: Kate trying to take Jaiden from me, Alex taking her side, and about me and Trevor. Trevor and me have been close since my dad died, but back there, when I was in his arms, I felt something was telling me that we were meant to be much more than friends. And then Alex... how could he do that to me? He means way to much to me, for me to lose him. It's just not possible, and I'll do whatever it takes so that won't happen.

I get back to the cafeteria and everyone is staring at me. Alex is no where to be found, I think that's for the better at least for right now. Kate is in the corner with Jaiden flirting up a storm. I feel my heart start to swell up with jealousy but I decide to ignore the feeling. I go over to Chloe, Iyona, and Brittney. They ask me if I'm okay, I say yeah. They give me a look that says "I-Know-You're-Lying-To-Me', but they don't say anything, I'm grateful for that. Just then my phone vibrates for the hundredth time in the past hour. I pull i out to look at it, it's Alex. I don't know what I should do, should I answer or ignore. Chloe, Brittney, and Iyona nod their head for me to answer. I walk outside to answer it.

On The Phone:

xxTashaxx: Hello?

:D Alex :D: Tosh?

xxTashaxx: What do you want?

:D Alex :D: I want to apologize.

xxTashaxx: It's too late for that Alex, goodby-

:D Alex :D: NO! Tasha please listen to me, I'm sorry for what happened. It won't ever happen again, I promise. I even broke up with her for good, and I will never get back together with her no matter what she does or says. I just want you back I need you to be there, so I can be there for you when you need. I can't do that if you won't let me in.

xxTashaxx: Promises, you know I can't trust you with promises anymore. You promised me that you'd never forget me that you'd always be there for me, no matter what. But, look at us now, it doesn't matter if you broke up with her that was after the fact you pushed me aside. I don't think I can ever trust you again... I... I don't... I don't think we can ever be friends again.

:D Alex :D: I know I broke a promise, but I'm not the only one. You promised to never leave me to always be there and never walk out of my life. But that's exactly you're doing right now. When I need you the most.

xxTashaxx: I made that promise, under the assumption that you would keep yours. But you didn't so why do I have to keep mine? That's all I have to say to you good bye Alexander, I hope you have a nice life.

The fact that I knew I couldn't trust Alex anymore tore me apart inside. But, what else was I supposed to do? Just sit there and take it? I mean he broke his promise to me. AND over Kate ... REALLY?!?! Well if he wants to earn my trust back he'll have to work for it. From now on I won't let anyone walk all over me anymore.

Time to start over.
