Chapter 6

HEEY PPLZ! lol Not up to saying anything today so here's Chapter 6 XD

We arrived at the movies and got our tickets. I was waiting for Ryan as he got the popcorn and drinks. I look over to see him talking to someone, I don't know who it is. They both look over at me and I look around quickly. That was weird, why is he talking to someone didn't he say we couldn't trust people. I decide to twiddle my thumbs when my cellphone buzzes. I look at the screen and see my best friend's name flash across the screen. I press the green button and bring it up to my ear, turning so I'm not looking at Ryan anymore.

"Hello?" I almost flinch when I hear her voice.

"HEEY!! Where did you go!? I haven't heard from you! You better tell me now because if you skipped town I'm gonna bug your ass about not bringing me!" She laughs at her own joke. I contemplate on telling her what happened and where I've been, but I decide against it.

"I've been hanging out with Ryan, sorry. My cellphone died for a bit and I forgot to call you. I've only been gone half a day. I'm at the movies right now." I hear a huge squeal.

"What!? Really? What have you guys been doing, haha. I went over to your house and you weren't there so I got worried. Wait, you're at the movies now? With Ryan? I'm here too! Where are you!" She's so loud I look around to see here in the corner of the arcade. She's looking around and I wave. We hang up and she runs over to me. I look at Ryan to see that he was still paying for stuff.

"OhmyGod! Why haven't I heard from you!?" I whince from the way she screeched. She's my best friend, but sometimes she needs to tone it down a bit. Ryan comes walking over as if he knew and answered before I got a chance.

"We had a big project to finish, so she was at my place. What have you guys been up to?" Obviously, he was talking about Lily and Kyle.

"Oh, we were gonna see that new horror movie about that vampire that takes this girl and she finds out, but still loves him and blah blah blah." She holds Kyle's hand.

"Chick flicks will be the death of me, man. I tell ya. Where's your sister?" I completely forgot about her because I was so caught up with Ryan. I look to him for an answer.

"Oh, her? She's out.....hunting with our uncle... Yeah." I notice the nervousness in his voice and his voice went a little high like it does when he lies. What is going on with him?

"What? Really? I thought she hated the woods?" Lily looked really confused and I looked back at Ryan again for the asnswer.

"Trust me...she spends a lot more time than you think in the woods." We decided to accept that answer and go get good seats while we can. I felt my hand barely touch Ryan's when we both reached for the popcorn. I kept seeing him look over at me a couple times and every time i looked over he'd look away. Hmm, that's interesting.

I'm thirsty. But, the drink is on his side. Frig. I was sitting there silently being annoyed and thinking about the full drink that was on the other side of him. I don't want to ask for it because he looks so into the movie right now. I'll just wait. I see his arm reach down for the drink and I thought he was going to take a drink when he suddenly hands it over to me without tearing his eyes from the screen. Okay then. I took it and sipped through the straw. Now, that was weird. Maybe he was going to take a drink and then was being nice. With that thought, I handed it back to him and he set it in the middle of us instead. I guess he didn't want a drink. I'm missing the movie. I turned my head towards the scene when suddenly something pops out. I squealed and grabbed Ryan's arm.

I saw a smirk on his face and I quickly pulled away and sank in my seat. Blushing furiously. I don't know why I'm blushing. I never thought of him in that way, but he's my best friend. Well, one of them and it would be so awkward. He's so weird and I don't really have feelings for him. Unless, I do and I just haven't realized. I wonder if he feels the same. The way he's been acting around me, but that's just him. He's friendly. Shit, I'm blushing again. This point in time I realized I was staring right at him. He didn't notice. I looked over at the couple sucking face next to us a.k.a. our friends. Well, They're best friends and it's not awkward for anyone. Okay. I'm done with this thinking. I have a movie to watch.
