I'm not sure if anyone still has the book in their library, but I'd like to try anyway.
Firstly, thank you so much for all of your praises and love for Insatiable! I enjoyed writing it as much as you guys and I've personally reread it a couple times too. Ian still gets to me sometimes.
After reading one of your comments, I had the idea of writing a spin-off since I've previously said I didn't want Vanessa and Ian's story to be too long. They found their happiness, I wanted to leave it at that.
I'd like to officially announce that I'll be writing a book for Oscar. The first chapter is already up and published! You can find it on my profile, titled Scarred.
Vanessa, Ian and Norman are still characters in the book if you'd like to read their cameos :)

She was so brave. He couldn't understand how she didn't hate him. He did this to her, he was the reason of her scar.
Had she not meet him that night, her life would've gone on as per normal. She wouldn't have to hide in shame, she wouldn't have to cry to sleep. She shouldn't have gone through any of it. She barely knew him!

"I don't need your pity." She said, turning her face away. He didn't see it, but he knew she must be tearing.
Fuck, did it ache to watch her cry for the umpteenth time.
He couldn't take it anymore. He cupped her face with both his hands, forcing her to look at him; to see the truth evident in his eyes.
"Dammit, I'm in love with you!"
