Anne's PoV: I woke up to Jane gently shaking my shoulder. I couldn't feel if my knee was hurting or not. I was hoping it wasn't. I tried lifting my head up but I had fallen asleep so late that it felt like my head was permanently stuck to the pillow. I forced my eyes open and saw that Jane hadn't woken Catherine up yet. Just as she went to wake her up, Anne whispered

Anne: No. Jane can I wake her?
Jane: Yeah of course you can

Jane walks into the kitchen and starts making breakfast. Even if her and Anne are the only ones awake
Anne slowly turns to lean on her right side so she can talk to Catherine. She tries to not move her knee too much but as she twists slightly, she feels a small zap of pain shoot through it. She ignores it

Anne: Cathy, Morning babe

Anne sees Catherine's eyes flutter slightly before opening and she smiles at Anne

Anne: Morning
Catherine: Morning. You sleep ok?

Anne remembers last night and what she heard Anna, Jane and Catherine talking about.
She didn't want to worry Catherine so just says

Anne: Eh it's not easy trying to not move your leg when every slight movement shoots a pain through it
Catherine: Well lets make sure we get you an appointment today so we can figure out what's going on

Catherine sits up and stretches before helping Anne sit up and then gives her her crutches.
Anne gently moves her knee so her legs were turned and she was sitting on the edge of the sofa. She successfully managed to stand up and went into the kitchen to grab her phone where she left it charging

Jane: Good to see you up and moving around. You happy with strawberry pancakes for breakfast?
Anne: You bet it

Anne gets her phone and sits at a stool by the breakfast bar. She's flicking through her Instagram when Aragon and kitty walk in. They say good morning and join Anne at the breakfast bar.
Suddenly. Anne's phone makes a noise and Anne realises it's the reminder she set so that she can ring the physiotherapist to get an appointment.

Anne: Right. Let's try and get an appointment
Jane: Good luck

As soon as the clock ticks over, Anne rings the number and thankfully manages to get an appointment for 6:30pm that evening.

Aragon: At least you have an appointment. We can stay here until then.
Kitty: Yeah. Me and Anna were gonna go to the supermarket today to pick up some stuff for a family dinner tonight. I know we always eat as a family but we were hoping that if your knee gets a brace on it, we could all sit at the table together.
Anne: Awww thank you kitty!
Kitty: No problem.

A sleepy Anna walks into the kitchen and greets the other queens.

Anna: Morning.
Jane: Morning Anna. You ok for pancakes today?
Anna: Sounds good

Catherine walks in from the living room and walks over to Anne and kisses her on the top of the head

Aragon: You two are so sweet. You know that
Anne: I'm just lucky to have such a sweet girlfriend
Catherine: Shut up
Kitty: Ok you two need to get a room here
Jane: Kitty!
Anna: You can be really cheeky sometimes
Anne: Anyways. Look I have an appointment at 6:30pm tonight. So what can we do until then?
Catherine: I had a few ideas.

The queens settle down to their pancakes and Jane sweeps round and clears the plates away after everyone is finished.
Catherine nudges Anne and gestures her to follow after her.
So Anne gets her crutches and follows Catherine into the living room

Catherine: Ta da!
Anne: Oh my god Catherine!

Catherine has set up two stations. With a sketchbook each, and a set of watercolour paints and an array of pencils
Catherine knows how much Anne loves drawing and how talented she is. So wanted to make Anne feel better and not be bored if she was going to be sitting around all day.

Catherine: Do you like it?
Anne: Like it? I love it!

Anne tries to hug Catherine but finds it hard with the crutches. So Catherine does most of the hugging part.
The two girls sit and Anne draws for around 4 hours straight. But she doesn't let Catherine are what she is drawing.
She finally finishes. Just as Anna and kitty get back from the supermarket. It's almost 6pm. So Anne is extremely glad she finishes the drawing before her appointment.

Anne: And... Done!
Catherine: Yay! Can I see it now?
Anne: Ok. Ugh god I've got pencil all over my hand.

She lifts up her left hand and shows it to Catherine. It's covered in grey markings all the way down her finger and to her hand.

Catherine: Well being left handed. I take it that's why.
Anne: Yep. Anyways. This is what I drew.

She turns the sketchbook round and Catherine gasps

Anne: What. Is it bad?
Catherine: Anne- Anne it's. It's absolutely amazing!

On the page of Anne's sketchbook, is a drawing of the moment that Anne and Catherine kissed under the branches at the picnic put together by the queens.
Anne didn't realise but Jane had captured the perfect photo as they kissed.
So Anne decided to draw it for Catherine.

Anne: Really? I feel like I could of shaded a bit better and maybe I could-
Catherine: Anne. It's the best thing I've ever seen. You have such a talent. You really do.
Anne: Thank you.

They smile at each other and Catherine sits next to Anne and pulls her into a hug.

Catherine: It's 6. We should probably get going
Anne: Ok. I'll just get my shoes on.

Anne gets her shoes on without too many issues and her and Catherine head out.
Around 10 minutes later they arrive at the physio.
Anne's name gets called early so they are already in with her physio at 6:20pm.
But it's not good news.
Within 15 minutes. Anne and Catherine have finished in the appointment and Catherine has finished sorting out something with the physio
The physio had gently taken off the knee support Anne was using and looked at her knee. But she looked shocked.
And after a few minutes of examining Anne's knee and told them both that with the state the doctors left Anne's knee in,
There was only one option left.
