"if you love me, why'd you leave me?."
You and Tom are dating for 10 years now. You and Tom met because of friends and started dating on year 2009. After all those years you still felt love from him, the happiness & the care. But why Tom didn't feel the same way again, he didn't feel any spark again.
"Y/N, you okay?" Lily Collins, your bestfriend for 12 years. You and Lily became friends because of your parents.
You are at the coffee shop with Lily today. You didn't feel good after what Tom said last night to you. You still couldn't believe that he said those sentences, words & every letters.
"Y-yeah. I'm fine." You mumbled staring at your cup.
flashback
You came home from work. You couldn't wait to be home especially to be in Tom's arms. As you change you clothes you directy went to your bed where Tom is laying down while reading a book.
"Hey, how's the shooting?" You asked him.
"Good." He replied, coldly. You didn't think any negative vibes. You just thought that he's tired that's why he's answering in a cold way.
"I'm going to sleep, goodnight love." You said as you tried to kiss him but he pulled away. That makes you scared, you turned your face expression into a confused face real quick.
"I need to talk to you about something. And before you would react, I wanted to tell you that I love you no matter what... But"
"But what?" You said fast. He looked at you and held your hand. You don't know what to feel but you are pretty sure that you're scared now.
"10 years being with you is amazing. Being with you is amazing but.. But I don't know why, I don't feel the love, the care, the everything anymore."
After Tom said that the two of you are very silent. You didn't know what to say, you're scared, you're sad, you're confused.
"I don't know if there's still love on this relationship. I, I don't know. And I am sorry for that, I swear I did what I should do to bring the happiness that I wanted but nothing happened."
Then there it goes. Your tears fell down from your cheeks. You couldn't believe what you just heard. You kept telling yourself that maybe this was just a dream.
"Why... Why would you say that... Please stop joking this isn't funny, Tom." You said between tears. He cried too and kept on apologizing.
"You'll be fine soon, I know that you're gonna find another great man out there." And without any reply from you. You just walked away from him and went outside and drove your car at your mother's.

"Hello?!" Lily said and you got shocked.
"What the hell is happening to you today huh?" She asked you. You just smiled and took a sip on your coffee. A few minutes later, you two left the shop and went at Lily's.
"What happened to the both of you?" She asked out of nowhere. You understand that she knows you very well because you're her bestfriend.
