Dusk
I should have thought this through more. We're going to die...I mean that would've happened anyway but I never thought we would be barbecued. I think then have an idea...an awful one but an idea all the same. I agreed to hand my powers over, maybe if I concentrate I can take them back. It's not good but it's all we can do. I focus and feel a slight burning in my hands, it stings and I look down and see they're purple, glowing and energy comes from Sombra and my father. The tiredness leaves me and I see he looks infuriated and almost scared.

"What the fuck did you do?!" he yells, the flames instantly dying away as I end up with my powers again. He tries to through his own energy at me but I catch it with ease. I think we're both shocked: I never thought I could stand up to him and he likely thought the same. He tries again, this time I deflect it and it hits him, knocking him back. Sombra, who has regained conscience also hits a blast at me- I also deflect that. Was I really able to do this the while time and just doubted myself too much? Really?

"You lot might want to leave," I warn, trying to talk and fight and do defense at the same time. They look worried then agree: being around all this energy and everyone dying would leave Nova and Summer alone.

"There's two of us and one of you," Sombra says. I can tell he's trying to shake my confidence again but for once it doesn't work. I have friends who care and at least some people think I can do it otherwise they wouldn't have left. I let my hands light up with energy and flames- the three of us start fighting.

------------------------

I'm exhausted and dizzy. Sombra is trapped again and this time I added a failsafe- only I can release him.
"You released him, didn't you," I ask, the pieces finally falling into place. He glares at me, even more tired than me. That's a yes then. He makes another blast.
"Don't," I warn, knowing full well another blast will take him out and I can't catch now, only deflect and it'd hit him. He does anyway and I make a blast, deflecting it...
