"Aaaaaaaaaand we're on the ground." Vic smiles at me.

I'm practically bouncing in my seat.

"Are you excited?" Vic asks with a laugh.

"Nope. Not one but." I joke with a stupid smile plastered to my lips.

"I can assure you Todd is just as excited as you."

"Lies. He's a wet blanket." I joke.

After a few more minutes, I stand up and practically run to the plane door. It slowly opens to reveal the group of people I've missed more than I knew was possible. Just as the plane's stairs hit the ground, I run down them, skipping a few at the end, and make a dead sprint for my brother's arms. We embrace each other in the most comforting and tight hug I've ever received.

"Mom was right. It does suck not seeing each other every day." I joke, close to crying of happiness.

Todd laughs alongside me. "Damn, I missed you."

Todd lets me down, allowing me to greet and hug the rest of my friends, and meet some new ones. Though, I can't help but notice that there's one person missing.

"What is this? You leave us for a year and suddenly I hear your voice every time I turn on the radio?" David jokes with his trusty camera in his hand.

"What is this? I leave you for a year and suddenly you start giving away free cars?" I mock him.

We all laugh together. It feels like I never left.

"Y/n, you can't just leave your luggage on the plane." Vic chuckles, her arms and hands piled with suitcases and bags.

"Oops." I shrug. "I got it." I begin to walk over to Vic to grab my luggage.

"No, I got it." Jeff offers, stopping me by placing his hands on my hips.

"Jeff, you literally met Y/n 5 minutes ago, and you're already flirting with her." Jason laughs.

"I'm not flirting! I'm being a gentleman." He defends himself, causing plenty of laughter. Jeff grabs all of my bags, but Vic insists on taking her own bags.

"Thank you." Vic sighs.

"Everyone, this is Victoria, or Vic." I introduce her as she stands next to me. "She's the one who makes sure I don't spend all of my money on candy and alcohol."

Everyone laughs and greets her.

"Thanks for keeping my sister alive." Todd jokes.

"You said that last time we saw each other." Vic notes causing everyone to laugh.

"Holy shit! How much did you spend on this place?" Zane asks as we enter the penthouse Vic and I will be staying in for the next month.

Vic hums. "Around 4mil."

Everyone gapes and walks around. As everyone parts into different rooms, I look at Victoria with wide eyes. "4 million dollars?!" I whisper-shout.

"This is an important trip for you. Might as well make your temporary home one to look forward to come home to." She shrugs.

"How the fuck did I get so lucky to get you as my manager?" I question before the two of us share a hug.

"Now go look around!" She encourages me.

"Thanks, Vic." I grin.

"Anytime, kid."

I walk into the doorway of the master bedroom. Coincidentally, David and Jeff are in the room.

"Admiring the bed, Jeff?" David questions Jeff whilst holding his camera.

Jeff looks at him and smiles slightly. "I just want to make sure it's a good bed." He shrugs.

"For what reason?" David teases.

Jeff searches for an excuse. "I just wanted to know."

David laughs.

"Well is it comfy?" I ask, making them realize my presence.

David pauses his recording.

"I mean, I didn't really get to test it sense David interrupted me." Jeff says.

"Well?" I motion to the bed.

As I hinted, Jeff falls backwards onto the bed. "Yup. Feels nice." He rolls onto his stomach and looks at me.

"That's what she said." I say as I fall down onto his back. My feet barely reach to his ankles, really showing the our difference in height.

"I couldn't have gotten at least a warning?" Jeff laughs.

"That's one thing about me." I cross my arms and lay them on the top of Jeff's head. "I'm full of surprises."

"Sounds good to me." He shrugs.

"I'm taking a picture and leaving you two because this is disgustingly adorable." David states as he takes his disposable camera from his back pocket. "Smile, lovebirds."

I pucker my lips and close my eyes as Jeff just smiles below me. Dave snaps the photo and walks off to a different room.

I roll onto the bed and stare at the ceiling. "Awwww. You were keeping me warm." Jeff pouts.

"I can assure you that there's a blanket somewhere." I giggle.

Jeff groans and rolls onto his back, next to me. We're silent for a moment before the silence is broken by one of us.

"I'm still cold."

"Jeff, we're in LA."

"Yeah, well the air conditioning is powerful!" He defends himself.

I groan, "Fine~"

Jeff and I lie together. My head on his chest, his arms around my waist. Honestly, this is somehow more comfortable than the bed itself. The two of us talk for a few minutes before I'm put to sleep by Jeff's gentle heartbeat.

Yes, you are still reading a Scotty X Reader. Don't worry. But there's this pesky thing called plot that we have got to deal with to make this story a complete one.
I promise Scotty will show up soon (Along with Liza, Heath, Mariah, Kristen, etc.).
Now, what you all want an explanation for. I know I said I'd post every other Sunday, but I'm not sure if that schedule will actually work out. You see, I always make sure that every chapter is, in my eyes, perfect and not rushed. And if I go with my schedule, I have a feeling we'd end up with a rushed, crappy story. Therefore, I will probably not have an actual posting schedule like I planned to. I'm sorry! I just want this story to be as good as it can be, and this is the best way to do so in my opinion.

Thank you for understanding,

~ Emma
