Teacher: . . . what we were literally just talking about?

Kid: We were talking about something?

Teacher, muttering to himself while pressing his palms together as though praying in front of him, looking up at the ceiling and pacing back and forth: Every child is a gift from God, every child is a gift from God, some are just. . . more special than others. . .
