It was Christmas eve, I think. There were a lot of Christmas lights around the place. The snow was falling down.
"It's cold. We should find a place to stay at this cold moment." I agreed and so, we walked around but there's nothing.
I saw a woman entered inside a shop. She looked sad so I walked toward the store where she entered.
"Hey, where are you going?" asked doctor V.
"Into that shop," I answered while pointing over the shop.
He followed me and as we entered inside the shop, "Will you buy my hair?" the lady asked to the owner of the shop, I guess.
"I buy hair. Take yer hat off and let's have a sight at the looks of it," the shop owner answered while rippling down the brown cascade.
"Twenty dollars," the shop owner said, lifting the mass with a practiced hand.
"Give it to me quick," the lady said aggressively.
"Is she sure about it? Doesn't she know about the consequences of cutting down your hair? Its a lady's crowning glory, right?" doctor V asked.
"Yes. You are perfectly right about that. But I guess, she has a problem that can only be solved by the means of selling her hair. Why don't we asked her?" I said and getting ready to walk towards the lady but he pulled me.
"Don't ever dare to get involve in this kind of situation. There's nothing you can do about it," he explained. But I want to know her reason, so I pulled my hand from him and ran towards the lady.
"Uhm, excuse me miss," I asked and she looked at me while the shop owner was cutting down her hair.
"What an I do for you young lady? Do you want to sell your hair also?" the shop owner asked to me.
I was able to answer the shop owner but someone grabbed my hand and said,
"No. She's not selling her hair. Am I right, bestfriend?"
What? Bestfriend?! That's ridiculous. In my entire life, there was no one that considered me as a bestfriend. But maybe hes just acting because of-- I don't know. Nevermind.
"Yeah. He's right because I'm here to... Uhm. What am I here for again?" I asked doctor V.
"Because you loss your comb so you want to buy another one," he said.
"Yeah. That's right," I said to the shop owner.
"I don't sell combs here. If you're looking for a comb shop, you should go to this place," she said while handling me an address of a comb shop.
We went thanked the owner for giving us some he address of comb shop, eventhough we're not really going to buy one and went out from the shop.
"I told you not to mingle on others' business but you still did!" he exclaimed and that made me get angry at him.
"How dare you to forbid me in doing things I want to do?! I don't even know your real identity, and yet, you act like my guardian or whatsoever?! Mind your own business and I'll also mind my own!" I shouted to him and walked out.
