I groan and roll over angrily, slamming my fist down onto the annoying alarm clock. After a quick glance to make sure it wasn't broken (sadly it wasn't) I checked the time. The glowing red numbers showed that it was 6:30 am a.k.a too fucking early. I sigh, knowing that I technically didn't have to get up because it is the weekend and I don't have work today. The only reason I ever get up this early is because I prefer to keep my sleeping schedule consistent so I don't suffer the consequences later.

I sat up and yawned, quickly stretching and removing myself from my warm heaven. After doing my usual morning routine (Pee, shower, complain about life, etc.) I walk down my hallway and into the kitchen. After opening the pantry, I decided to eat (your fav cereal).The best kind of breakfast especially when you haven't eaten anything other than a granola bar every day for the past week.

Finishing my breakfast, I head to the living room and plop down onto the couch. I snatched the remote from the table and turned on my favorite show. It's my day off and all I want to do is be lazy all day.

Sadly though, life had other plans. Soon after binge-watching halfway through season two of my favorite show my phone rang. I begrudgingly got up and grabbed my phone. The caller ID showed that it was my good friend Greg. Obviously, my mood instantly brighten
because someone actually decided they wanted to talk to me today. I quickly answered the phone before it stopped ringing. "Heyyyy Greg," I said happily. He replied like any normal person would, saying, "What's up friend person (y/n)?". I chuckle and reply," nothing, It's my
lazy day." "(y/n)! That's so dumb! You need to get up and socialize. Maybe even find yourself a man." I couldn't see his face but I could tell that he was wiggling his eyebrows like an idiot. I chuckle and say," Dude, as if. Nobody I know interests me in that way." " Oh my god (y/n), you are so picky. Tons of guys like you! You're drop-dead gorgeous girl!" " Okay then, name one person who likes me." "Well... y-you know. Um, there's that...one...guy?" "Exactly! Nobody!" " No, I just can't recall their names right now," he stated in an unsure tone. I sighed and said" anyway, what's up with all the background noise? Are you at a party or something?" Sighing in relief due
to the change of subject he replied" no I'm just out in town with some friends. I called to ask if you wanted to go somewhere with us later tonight?" " Ughhhhh, but today was my lazy day." "
Suck it up buttercup you're coming with us!" I heard a chorus of agreement and decided that it wouldn't hurt to go somewhere tonight. It's not like I needed to be anywhere tomorrow. In a jokingly angry voice, I said "Fine, I'll just give up all of my free time to go hang out with you. It's not like I had anything to do." Smugly he replied " I know you silly, silly goose. Meet us at 11:30pm in that dead magician guy's house. We're going ghost hunting!" He quickly hung up the phone before I had a chance to object.

I guess I have no choice but to come. He knows that I don't believe in ghosts but he still decided to invite me. In all seriousness though, I'm pretty grateful for him. Without him, I wouldn't go out of my house unless absolutely necessary. With that thought in my head, I plop back down on to my couch and unpause my show. I wonder who else is going to be there? My guess is Amy, Jared, and Tate. Jared is Greg's boyfriend so of course he's going to be there. Amy and Tate are my other two best friends and I hope they'll be there because I don't wanna
be alone with Greg and Jared's puppy love. I sigh and start to pay attention to my show. After all, I'd have to leave soon.

Hey guys! I know that that was kinda long and pointless but I appreciate you making it this far! I've decided to go all-in with this book and I've even downloaded Grammarly to help me with some stuff. It's pretty useful and I'm thinking about buying the premium version because I could definitely use the help. Also, I thought I'd let you guys know that I'm going to try updating this book at least once a day. Even though I'm pretty bad at it, I do enjoy writing and hope that this isn't the last book I write. PLEASEEE STICK AROUND TILL THE END OF THIS BOOK because that would make me very happy.
