A best friend's lie

Chapter 9

Amanda's POV
Photoshoot and I decided to give simon another chance. I texted him to meet at the park. "And where are you going miss?" Dad asks as I was about to go out of the door. "Gonna meet someone at the park" I say and rushed to my car. I drove down to the park  and went to our meeting place. But to my suprise he wasn't there. He said he was already here. As I strolled around to look for him I saw a familiar guy with a girl. Is that him? As he looked at the side it was simon. "How dare he?" I say to myself. And seen by my both eyes they kissed. I should've just moved on.

1 year later.

I live on myself and 10 times richer. I have my own mansion, I'm a presenter, actress, c.e.o, and a model. But still single. I finally moved on from simon thanks to my friends. "Gurl you ready?" Christians asks as he appears on the door. "Almost" I say as I took my heels on the shelf. "You look hot" He says as I adjust my off shoulder and shorts. "We need to change your hair" he says and I simply nod. He took my hair tie off leaving my hair wavy and falling down at my back. "That's more like it" He says and I wore my heels. "Let's go" I say and went out of the house.

We drove to the pub and met some of my friends. "Looking hot mandy" sarah says and I smiled. "You're not so bad yourself" I say and she laughs. We decided to dance when I was dancing I saw a couple of eyes looking at me. He's handsome and husband type of guy, he's also a hunk. I continue to dance not minding the guy anymore. "Mandy wanna drink?" Nikita asks and I nod. We then went to the bar station and ordered our drinks.  As the I was about to get my drink someone already took it. I look at the person who took it and it was the guy I saw earlier. I look at his brown eyes deep and I can see him smirk. He takes a sip on my drink and gives it to me. "Why is there a gorgeous girl alone in here" he asks as he sat in beside me. "Well fyi I'm not alone". I say and he smirks. "Is it because I'm here?" He says making me blush. "Well aside from that I have my friends here". I say

"Hey mandy and ooh who's this?" Paula asks. "This is?" "Chris" he replies and shakes paula's hands. "Nice to meet you, well have fun talking to Amanda" she says and I blushed from embarrassment. "Amanda what a beautiful name" he says and I smile. "Thanks" I say placing strands of hair behind my ear. "Wanna dance?" He asks and I nod. I finished my drink and he pulls me to the dance floor. We danced well more of grinding on each other. Suddenly a slow music came and he rests his hands on my waist. Mine wraps on his neck. "Are you single" he asks and I nod. "How come a gorgeous girl like you is single?" He asks and I chuckle. "Well I did have a relationship years ago but it didn't end well so." I say and he smiles. "So what's your job?" I ask him and he smiles again, damn it the smile is killing me. "CEO of the highest record company around the world." He says I knew he was familiar. "How about you?" He asks. "Model, presenter, actress, and also a CEO" I say and he spins me. "Get away from her!" Somebody says and punched chris. I looked at the person and it was simon. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" I say and helped chris up. People started going out of the pub leaving us with my friends and chris and the annoying person.

"You ok?" I ask chris as his hand rest on his cheeks. I took his hand away and there was a bruise. "Oh dear". I say sarah gives me a handkerchief and I placed it on chris's cheek. "What the hell are you doing Amanda?" Simon says and I look at him in disbelief. "You should've been asking yourself that!" I say and his face is red." You love him?" He asks I look at chris. "Yes" I say and his fists clenched. "I don't believe you" he says and I rolled my eyes. "Well I don't believe in you also for what you have done years ago!" Is say and flashbacks started to came back. "Kiss him if you love him" Simon demands. "We only just met!" I say and he smirks. "So you still love me?" He asks and I look at him with a serious face and shook my head.

"Then why didn't you kiss him?" He asks and I had enough. I turned to face chris and kissed him passionately. He kisses me back and it felt so right. His hands went resting at my waist as mine wraps on his neck. I end the kiss and look at simon who is now with lauren beside her. "Happy now?" I say and lauren suddenly slaps me. Chris rushed up to me and checked my cheek. He gives it a peck and I smile. "You both better leave before I kick you out!" Chris says and lauren pulls simon but simon didn't move. "I hope you'll regret this" he says and I shook my head. "I will never regret this, the thing you both made is the one thing I regret doing!" I say and they both leave. "Are you alright?" Chris asks and I nod. "If you love me just by money I don't care." Chris says and I shook my head. "No don't say that I truly love you" I say and he smiles.

"Chris and Amanda sitting in the tree K.I.S.S.I.N.G..." They sang making us laugh.
"Let me bring you home" he says and I kiss him.
