A best friend's lie

Chapter 13

Amanda's POV
"I, fine, but if you break this again I'll never speak to you again." I say and he smiles brightly. "Thank you Amanda!" He says and hugs me tight. "Right I better go." I say and waved goodbye at him. I got out of the cinema and saw my companions. I held Chris's hand and he kisses my head. "What now?" Alesha asks. "We could buy dresses for David's wedding." Mum suggests and we separated from the boys. We went to the store and bought dresses. as we finished we went to meet the boys. "So what now?" I ask them again. "we should probably head head home." Mum says. "when is David's wedding again?" I ask them. "The day after tomorrow." David says checking his phone. "Wait you can stay in my house." I suggested and they all agreed.

We went back home. As we arrived I led them to their respective rooms. As they have relaxed Chris and I came back in our own bedroom. "Should we watch a movie? Again?" He asks and I cuddle up to him. "Sure." I say and throughout the movie I fell asleep.

David's wedding day

We are getting our make up done at the hotel in my room while the boys on David's room. "I like David's future wife than Lara." Alesha says making me and mum laugh. "I simply agree." I say as Christian finishes my make up."

I changed into my gorgeous dress. . "You ready to go?" Alesha asks me and we nod. Mum was teary making our hearts melt. As we parade in David was wiping his tears. Chris held my hand tightly as we walk. "Imagine this is our wedding." Chris whispers in my ear making me blush. I looked up to him and smile. We then head separate ways.

Time skip.

The wedding ended smoothly. We are walking to the parking lot. "So when are you both going to get married?" Alesha asks and clings into me like a clingy sister would do. "I don't know actually." I say and she looks at Chris. "Soon lesha." He says and winks at her. She giggles. We arrived at the car and went straight to the reception. As we arrived Chris takes my hand. I look at him and smiled, he smiles back. We then head to our seats. 

few minutes later

We did our speech for the newly wed and good to say I embarrassed David. His cheeks were red as a stop sign and her wife laughs at my devious speech. But I pity him so I stopped embarrassing him and continued with a heart touching speech for the both of them. "I'll  get revenge on you when you get married with Chris." He says through the microphone making everyone laugh. "If you don't forget it." I say and he smirks. "Now it's time for the throwing of the bouquet." The host says. Mum pushed me and Alesha in front. "I don't have a boyfriend mum" Alesha protested. Mum rolls her eyes making me laugh. The bouquet was thrown into the air, the bouquet was flying into my direction. I noticed everyone stepped away and as expected the bouquet landed on my hands. "Ooh what do we have here?" David says and it was my turn to blush. "So David's sister the famous Amanda Holden got the bouquet. Ms. Holden please stand beside your brother." The host says and I stood beside David. "lucky, lucky." He says. I simply Rolled my eyes at him. 

"Ok gentlemen please step up it's now time for the garter toss." The host says and I see mum pushed Chris making me laugh. David took the garter off her wife (I'm sorry I don't have names for David's wife in this story and I'm lazy) David was about to throw the garter but instead he turned and went to Chris? is this planned? He gave Chris the garter. "Amanda please sit down on the chair." the host says as someone placed a chair in the middle of the dance floor. everyone took there phones out. I sat on the chair and Chris came up to me. "What are you planning mister?" I asked him and he smiles. He places the garter into my leg and kisses my hand making everyone cheer. "Hey Mandy " David says making me turn to him. "yes?"I asked him. Then everyone started cheering again. I was confused, so I turned to Chris who was kneeling holding a engagement box showing a diamond ring. my mouth was opened wide. My vision starts to blur as tears form into my eyes. I placed my hand near my mouth. "Amanda Louise Holden, I want you. All of you. Your flaws. Your mistakes. Your imperfections. I want you and only you. When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew. You make me happier than I ever thought I could be and if you let me I will spend the rest of my life trying you to make you feel the same way. So Mandy will you marry me?"He says and all went silent waiting for my response. I nod crying. "yes!"I happily said and everyone cheered I stood up followed by Chris and we kissed in the middle of the dance floor like we did when we first met. 

"We're getting married"I say and everyone filled the venue with cheers. "Well that was a wonderful proposal there." The host says as me and Chris went back to our seats. "Congratulations to the both of you." Mum says hugging me. "Wait, wait, you guys knew?"I asked them and they nod. "Chris asked for our permission when you went to talk to you know." Dad says and I looked at Chris and smiled. He kisses my forehead. My phone starts vibrating crazy as my fans congratulated me and Chris. As the event ended we all headed home happily.
