When I woke I saw a white room. The walls were padded and there was a steel desk in the corner. I started to panic and friend to get up. I couldn't sit up. I looked down and my waist, wrists, and ankles were latched to the bed. I screamed and ear piercing scream.
"HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME!" I cried.
"P-Paloma?" Someone whispered.
I turned my head and saw Cate and Reese strapped to a bed. I assumed I was also in the same situation. Reese was closer to me and we locked eyes. Her face was tear streaked and she had a black eye.
"Are you alright?" I ask, already knowing the answer.
"Paloma, girl." She started to say.
I heard screaming down the hall and Cate gasped.
"I think we might be getting a new room mate." Cate said.
Edward was carried into the room by four people in masks and white lab coats.He was shoved onto a bed like ours. He gasped as the air was knocked out of him. He muffled a cry and the strapped him down like us.
"Let is go!" I cried.
A man with white hair stared at me. He walked over and laughed at me struggling. I felt myself get angry again. I felt my hands get hot and I felt electricity shoot out of them. He man was standing at the foot of the bed so the electricity hit him. The force of my electricity was weak and it made me light headed. Please Paloma, don't faint again. The man stared at me and grimaced. I gulped and willed myself to stay awake. Me being me my mind wasn't strong enough and I drifted back into a deep slumber.
I awoke to more frantic cries. I realized that I wasn't strapped down. I quickly got to my feet to find the source of the screaming. I then noticed that there was a glass pane that let me look into another room. I saw Edward strapped into a chair in the center of the room. Pressed against the glass was a sobbing Reese and a comforting Cate. Edward has the same clothes on but, they were torn and bloody. I was horrified about what I might see if I looked at his face.
When I looked into it I was horrified. His nose was bleeding and his eye was swollen shut. He had a large gash below his eye and his eye was red and puffy. Of course he would have been crying, so would I if I was in that situation. The same man who I electrocuted was at the source of Edwards injury's. He stared at me before he attacked him again. He seemed to be questioning him. About what though?
I heard another scream and I saw Reese banging on the glass and trying to get through to him. I ran up to her and pried her away.
"Shush. If we don't make a big deal out of it he will probably stop!" I frantically said.
She instantly stopped and laid in my lap. Is stroked her hair and hugged her. Cate came over and sat down next to us. We all fell asleep clinging on to each other.
