The door clanked open with a bang. A bloody limp body was thrown into the room.
"Edward," Reese gasped.
I stared at him and he groaned. I chewed on my lip until it started to bleed. It's my fault we're here. It's my fault Edward almost died and I need to get us out! As I was moping around in my thoughts Reese was doing the best she could to clean his cuts.
"There is no use," said Cate, "He's a goner anyway!"
"Jesus Cate. You really know how to make a guy loose hope," Edward rasped from floor.
Reese shrieked and jumped back.
"OH MY GOD! YOU'RE ALIVE!"
"Obviously." I snapped for the corner of the room. My head was in between my knees and I was playing with my dirty shoe laces.
"You are so annoying Paloma."
Just then we hear a crackle. A booming voice says, "Paloma and Reese say your goodbyes, you might not see them again. Get ready to leave and get ready to feel a lot of pain. Hah. Sorry. Good luck."
Reese screams as Edward hugged her from behind. He threw her behind him and snarled. A hand wrapped around my arm and I shrieked.
"LET GO!" I sobbed.
I saw two men walk over to Reese and Edward. A man pulled out a gun and shot two lasers into his back. He crumpled to the floor. Reese knelt down and planted a kiss on his forehead. The two men grabbed her shoulders and forced her out.
I start freaking out as I am slammed into a table. The sheer force knocked the wind out of me. I try to catch my breath as my arms and legs and restrained. I feel an needle enter my arm and I scream. It felt like hot lava was coursing through my veins. I start to sob and plea.
"HELP! PLEASE HELP!" I scream.
I scream again. Longer and louder. I feel a hand pressed up against my stomach as I feel another needle enter me. I scream louder. This time it felt like a million different needles were poking my skin. It felt like animals and bugs were crawling and burring into my skin. I wanted it to end. Suddenly it stopped. Another needle entered my arm but it was calming. It was like I knew it would go away.
"Carry her out." Said a muffled female voice
"On it ma'am!" It replies
I feel myself being lifted up and I feel myself fall into a deep sleep.
