Jungkooks POV:
A week later-
After the vacation I worked all day on my own. Taehyung didn't show up. I was actually pretty sad about that. I wanted to text him, but I didn't have his number. So I just packed my stuff and left the cafe. Why didn't he come? I sighed as i was walking down the street. It was 8 o'clock and I just got a text of Soojin, an old friend from high-school.
Soojin:
Jungkookie, I missed you a lot! Let's have dinner together tonight.
Sigh, what does she want.
Me:
Sure.
We'll meet up at a fancy restaurant but I just noticed that I wasn't wearing appropriate clothes. I was wearing black jeans with holes in it by my knees, a soft pink jumpsuit and all stars. But well yeah i don't give any fucks.
I arrived at the restaurant and saw her sitting by a table. She looked up and waved smiling. I just smiled back en went to her and sat across her.
''Hii Kookiee, how have you been?'' She asked looking at me.
''Great.'' I answered bluntly. I was silent for a moment and I felt bad that I was being rude so
''How about you'' I said while sipping some water.
''Yess, I'm having such a great time, I've started a career as pianist, everything is going great just omg''
I nodded and I looked at her. She had long dark hair and a cute face. She was wearing a skirt which is a bit toooo short and she was wearing white t-shirt with 'promises' on it. We both opened the menu book and we looked trough it. I basically chose pizza (duh) and she chose for some very classic Italian spaghetti. I looked around after ordering. I saw couples sitting everywhere. They were all dressed well and good looking. I sighed. Wish I were in a relationship too.
''Ahh I feel the same like you don't worry.'' Soojin said
I looked up and saw Soojin looking at the couples too. I never really liked Soojin at all. In high-school she used to be a basic bitch, always judging my looks but still being my friend. She always taught that we are close to each other since we grew up together but I never told her about myself or my problems. But yet she always acts like she knows me the best.
We talked while eating about stuff we did in high-school. When we both were done we stood up and decided to go to the city to hang out and stuff. We where walking in the crowd. She wrapped her arm around my arm. I just let it be, not caring at all. Even tho I was with her, my mind was always on Taehyung. Sigh.
''What's wrong kookieee, don't you enjoy this? You and me, romantically walking around in the lights?'' Soojin said pouting.
I nodded. ''It's nice'' as we were walking past a store I saw a back of a guy. I know this. He, he. I will always recognise who he is even if he stands 50 meters away. Taehyung. He turned and I saw his face. I stopped walking. I saw how he looked like. I heard Soojin calling my name but I totally ignored her. His face..he looked like a mess. He looked at me and we had eye contact for a moment. I left Soojin and ran to him.(sorry this is so dramatic OMG AHHA so finally a new chapter guys...)
