Chapter 25

11 months later...

It's October. Momma J and Mijo are living a couple of streets away from Kalia and Chris and the twins, Samiyah and Christopher. Momma J watches the twins while Chris and Samiyah are out at school and work. Mijo has started dealing with the Rodriguez brothers, who rival Wayne's crew. Wayne and the boys have picked back up in their dealing, especially Chris, who is trying to save up money; twins are expensive. Mijo has started dating Janae, and is rarely seen except by Momma J and Chris. Skylar and Gui are still on and off as usual. Tyga has started dating Entisar, who is also a bartender at his strip club. She works along Aubrey, who is still with Sav.

CHRIS

I was visiting my ma and playing with Samiyah. Christopher was sleeping still in the play pen, he was just like me, loving his sleep. Samiyah was more like her mom, always happy and smiling. She rarely cried, and even if she did, she was still so pretty. Her hair was so pretty, thick and slightly curly, and black as night. I was laying on my back holding her over me, and she was giggling, her big light brown eyes shining.

"brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" I was pretending she was an airplane flying above me.

The door opened and all I could hear was a jangling of keys and something heavy being put onto the ground. Kalia walked into the living room a few moments later, sweaty, but happy.

"Hey honey," she came and kneeled down and kissed me on the lips sweetly. Her voice turned sugary as she addressed Samiyah. "Baby Samiyah, my beautiful girl, how are you?"

Samiyah gooed and gahed and reached for her mother. I passed her to Kalia and sat up. Kalia bounced her around the room and Samiyah yowled with laughter. Kalia was a great mother.

"Chris, babe, do you think that Momma will keep the babies over night?" Kalia finally stopped bouncing Samiyah and came over to the couch and sat down, where I was on the ground still leaning against the couch.

"Hmm... You know Ma, as long as we have a good reason and give her everything needed, she'll do it. Why what's up?"

"Well, I feel like getting the crew together and having a game night or something. Like, I miss everyone! And especially since school has started again, I haven't seen everyone in what feels like ages!! You know how Aubrey and Sav were in Jamaica all summer, and Sky and Gui were off until like, last week. I haven't seen Lola and Sean since Tyga up-ed her hours, though I think he did it on purpose." She gave me a look.

"He thinks Lola is the best stripper out of the girls he got. He has her third in the rotation, every third act is her. And then, she also does rounds in the beginning."

"Chris, I feel like he wants to keep her away from Sean." And she was right. I knew. Lola told me she overheard Tyga talking to his homie Z.J. about it. "He did just hire a whole new set of girls. And the three, Baby Doll, Bunny, and Candy Chocolate used to work at King of Diamonds. They're pro. Lelekiwi, Keisha, and Bunny are thick as hell, but they just can work the pole. He hadn't given her a night off till tonight... so I was going to invite everyone to our crib, have em slide through and we just have a fun night."

"Yea, baby girl. I'll ask her now." I got up, checked on Christopher who was still napping, and went to the kitchen.

"Ma!" I came in and grabbed a biscuit off the tray. She swatted my hand but let me eat it.

"Yes Chris?" She continued to fry up her chicken.

"Cah oo wah da ba'ies?"

"Chris. You are going to choke on that biscuit."
