Unintentional

Untitled Part 5

This short chapter is going to be in Levi's point. Just before Eren left.

I looked away from him. He kissed me so passionately. I know I yelled at him, but I meant that I was surprised. I thought the brat hated me. I was completely red from embarrassment. I couldn't bear looking at him. I didn't want him to see me. It was too embarrassing. I was concentrated thinking about how adorable Eren was that I didn't notice the door slam. And it was loud. I honestly can't believe I missed it. A few minutes later, after I had calmed myself, I turned back around to see that my love was gone. That damned brat. How could he leave me after kissing me. Didn't he love me if he kissed so passionately? Fuck. 

I ran around the house yelling for Eren. After several minutes, no one answered. There was only one thing left, outside. I ran to the front of the house to get ready to leave, but as I was about to reach for my coat, I realized it was gone. He really did leave, huh? Did he hate me that much. I was disappointment in myself. I called Erwin.

"Oi, Erwin. It's important. No it's an emergency."

"What is it, Levi?"

"Well, you know that brat that you carried in? Well, he ran away and I need you to track him down and bring him back to me."

"Why would I do that?"

"Sigh. I'll ask Hanji if she's free next week"

"Ok, deal. I'll get him back in three days. If not, then the next day. You can count on me."

"Yeah, yeah"

"Oh, make sure you do ask her though. Actually ask. Not the same excuse you made last time."

"You mean the time where I said she wasn't free when really she was or the time where I put you in a coma so I wouldn't have to ask her, oh or the time when Hanji ha..."

"ALL OF THEM! YOU BETTER NOT DO THAT AGAIN OR I'LL SLAUGHTER YOUR EREN RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU"

"You wouldn't"

"Oh yes I would. Bet on it"

I knew he would really do it if I didn't ask

"Ok fine. I'll actually do it."

"Really? You promise?"

"What are you, five?"

"Well, how would I trust you if you don't promise. And you know what they say, 'if you break a promise, I can cut off your finger' hahahahaha."

"Are you done laughing? If you are then I'm sure you would love to hear what I have to say next."

"Ok yeah, I'm done. What were you gonna say."

"Ugh, I-I promise you I'll do it for real."

"Ha. I knew you would. Ok then, see you soon. Love ya."

"Yeah right. You love hangi, bushy eyebrows. Oh, and by the way, I'm sure you should trim your eyebrows because the last time I asked her if she was free, she said she would only go out if you didn't have such ugly eyebrows."

"What, really? Ok. On it right now. First I'll trim my eyebrows and then find Eren. Bye"

"Oi, find Eren firs-"

He hung up. Sigh. But at least he was going to trim his eyebrows. Those damned brows were giving me nightmares and soon those nightmares would be gone.

~third day (night)~

I went to the balcony to take a smoke. I was stressed out that Erwin hadn't called me yet. I started to talk to myself wondering when the hell he would call me about the damned brat.

I looked up. I could see green circles. Two green circles that looked exactly like Eren's eyes. Beautiful. I shook my head violently. I looked back up and just as I thought, it was an illusion. There really was no eyes. I headed back inside so I could focus on my plan to find him if Erwin didn't, but I couldn't help feeling that those green circles were actually real. Like Eren was there. But there was no way he would come back. He hated me. Once Erwin comes back with him, I'll treat him well. I'll make him fall in love with me. I believe I can.
