[In the village]

Woman: Rayven have you seen Azumi?

Rayven: I'm sorry, but here.

I gave her the only thing that was left from her. It was a rusted bracelet from her. The mother weeps of her lost child.

No one knew how she got killed but Ruku was nowhere in sight....

Meeji also being gone kills me. The only friend that was with me for many years ago...he was the only one who knew my past.

"Why did I felt so confident of our kingdom. People will now blame me for making lies saying that we'll definitely win."

"I'm sorry Meeji, Kiko and everyone...I'm a fool."

[End of review]

I put my face on the floor and apologized to everyone for my foolishness. Azumi's mother got down at patted my back trying to comfort me the best way possible.

[At the hospital]

I sat down on the chair next to the hospital bed. I was just hoping that Kiko has a chance to live. She's been in a coma for 3 days now. It took us 2 days to get to our place since a lot of had severe injuries and all the equipment for aid kits vanished all of the sudden.

Right now I came to visit Kiko from the hospital and so far with the results that I've been told from the nurse still is blank. No one knows if she'll regain co. However if her mother finds out... it'll be awful-

Queen: Kiko? Kiko!

Kiko's mother ran up to the unconscious girl.

Queen: K-Kiko? Dear? What happened to you?

Sora: I'm sorry...

Queen: Why is Kiko on the bed?

Sora: S-She umm went to war and got shot.

I stutter so much because I was scared how the mother will react. I'm scared of getting found out that I'm the prince of Nemi. I don't want the queen to hate me. I didn't chose this awful path.

My life already had a path once I came to this world. All I need to do is just walk to the path.

However, I'm so confused why my parents suddenly threw me into the forest and why they were so kind to kiko's mother.

These questions are making me feel lightheaded. I don't know what to do to break the path that I'm in and make a new route for me to follow.

Even though I'm trying to make a new path it won't be easy. I need to build the new path as I walk. Having a new path also leads to circumstances and consequences that will make the obstacles unpredictable and probably unbeatable.

Queen: Why didn't you save her? How do you know this information? Did she tell you? And if she did why didn't you stop her? You are going to be her future husband so why aren't you saving her now?

I stood quiet and didn't dare to spit out a word for I am afraid I'll say something wrong that might make her suspicious.

The queen sighed and looked at Kiko once again.

Queen: Please take care of her well.

I nodded.

She smiled lightly but with sad disappointing eyes.

"I'm sorry for not protecting her."

She left and a couple of minutes Rayven came going up to Kiko with a concern look.

Rayven: I wish I saved you...

He stood up and turn his face towards me giving me a dark look.

Rayven: Hope you learn your lesson. Once I reveal your secret you'll be long gone from my sight.

I just look down not even saying a word.

I wish someone heard my story... my point of view but I can only listen to theirs. Why so cruel? Why can't you see me as a human? I'm innocent.

Rayven sighed and left the room.

As he left the hospital the queen came to him and slapped his left cheek.

Queen: I trusted you! Why didn't you save my daughter?! She might die from losing so much blood! I can't believe you!

She walked away stomping.

Rayven: I-I tried saving her but everyone was blocking my way.

In the end of the war everything became my fault. People started blaming me for not stopping the princess from getting killed. They would say "She was our only hope! Now we won't have a chance to have a taste of freedom!"

I soon realize how selfish we are. Putting the princess and queen in danger to sacrifice their lives for people. They only  love and care for the princess just because she can give them freedom. Unfortunately, it's impossible to have freedom. Each day gets bad to worse. Only progresses in a bad way.

Everyone is selfish without being aware of it. Having expectations that are really high standards making us their slaves even though our position is higher.

Like a master obeying his slave. It's really unthinkable since it's so strange to see that. Our people always telling us what to do with strong mad voices. Thinking that we can do all these steps with no helping hand.

Imagine just 3 main people helping to make peace between our people and tribes.

Everyone thinks that they are innocent and try convincing people to tag along with them. This makes life more harder.

I look up in the sky and head to the castle.

[In the village]

Reo: Seems like this will be easier than I expected.

I smirk and cover my hood more so they won't notice my face.

Rayven looks at Reo without knowing it's him and gives him a suspicious look.

Rayven: I should follow him instead of going back to work.

Rayven puts his mask on and starts investigating his every move he can possibly see clearly.
