Tates poem to violet-ahs

Why did you leave me all alone on this broken floor
Tears ripping down my face as you walk out that door
You are all I want, you are all I have
I will wait forever if I have to
If it's the only way to bring me back to you

I was a different person then, I promise you
A better man now thanks to you
Before you my heart was cold
Then you came, filled it with love to hold

If you love me like you said, why did you say goodbye
I was always here for you, I watched you die
Now we are both undying souls in this lonely place
I'm by myself now but all I see is your face

You are the medicine to the pain in my heart
I feel as if you are ripping it apart
You have no idea how important you are to me
I hate what I did, it haunts me and won't let me be

So if you don't want me, I'll keep us apart
But just so you know, you're the only one who has my heart
