"Who were you with?" I asked Soyeon. She immediately let go of my hand, and looked away from me. "That's just Song Yuqi, a new friend I made!" She stammered. I sighed. She was drifting herself away from me, making new friends. It was scary. For as long as I can remember, I was her only friend.
"Okay." I said, accepting her answer. She sighed, fixing her hair, and holding my hand again. I smiled. It just felt so right to hold her hand. Whenever I held other hands from the people I used to date, it was weird. Maybe that's why we would always break up.
"So uh.." Soyeon blushed. "What do you want to talk about?" I shrugged. "Not sure. I'm honestly tired, so I'm just going to relax." I moved my chair so that I was sitting beside her, and I rested my head on her shoulder.
It felt peaceful, as if my head was meant to be there.
