After cabin cleaning, Annabeth saw Percy and ran up behind him. She covered his eyes with her hands and in her best sultry voice, she spoke into his ear, "Guess who?"

Percy played along, "Hmm, well that's tricky, but I'm gonna have to say, Frank".

Annabeth kissed the side of his neck and laughed, "Not quite, but good effort!"

Percy chuckled and twirled on his heels so he was facing the lovely woman known as Annabeth. Her gray eyes seemed to have an extra sparkle to them today in this light. One curl of her blonde locks fell across her face as she avidly tried to comb it behind her ear. Percy grabbed her hand mid-stroke and interlocked their fingers. In one quick motion, he wrapped his arms around her and dipped her like a cheesy flamenco dance move. "Whoah!" She let out a cheerful yelp. It seemed to work as Annabeth was horizontal in his arms with one leg in the air. Her chest heaved up and down as she was left breathless. "What the heck was that?" Annabeth couldn't help but laugh at Percy's attempt to be romantic. "And please don't tell me you have a rose in your mouth somewhere."

Percy released a coy smile and with a raise of his eyebrows he said, "Wanna check?" He leaned down and placed a kiss on her lips. At this point, they were getting good and their mouths seemed to fit together like puzzle pieces. Percy helped Annabeth back on her own two feet. "Actually, I was practicing a little move for our wedding reception... I still think it needs some more work".

"You're my prince charming, Perseus Jackson". Annabeth felt genuinely happy with him because, despite all his goofy stumbles, he couldn't be more perfect. She stood up on her tiptoes and gently kissed him on the cheek.

Percy grabbed her hands in his and looked down at her with the charming smile. "So what's up?" He asked her.

"I was just wondering what that call this morning was about," Annabeth asked him.

"I was hoping you'd ask," Percy couldn't suppress his happiness, "So I sent an Iris message Poseidon to let him know about the engagement. He told me that if he had to have a child of Athena as a daughter-in-law, he's glad it's you. Then I called my mom to let her know the big news and she said she wants us to go visit her and Paul in Manhattan if that's alright with you."

Annabeth's lips curled up into a smile, "Of course it's alright with me, I mean if we're engaged and everything we better start doing stuff together. Besides you know I think your mom is the sweetest; I could never turn down her invitation."

Percy let out a sigh of relief, "Oh that's really great to here, I wasn't sure if you'd feel overwhelmed. So we'll leave tomorrow morning. My mom said she'd send a car so we don't have to worry about hailing that gods-awful Gray sisters Taxi again."

"What a relief, that would be pretty rough. So I better start packing up my stuff. I'll see you at dinner, okay?" Annabeth told him. Percy kissed Annabeth on the top of her forehead and then waved goodbye.

With some free time to spare, Percy decided to pay a visit to a close friend.

Percy walked to the edge of the forest where he found Grover leaning against a tree talking to himself -- or maybe his girlfriend, Juniper.

"Hey man, how's it going? Do you have a minute to talk?"

Grover lit up when he saw his best friend "Percy! Of course, what's up?" Grover walked towards Percy and they strolled though the strawberry fields.

"Well, I know everything has happened so quickly but I was wondering if you would be my best man. I know that everything has been very hectic and we haven't gotten to spend a lot of time together in the past months, but you're my brother. Besides, we're literally connected and I wouldn't rather have anyone else there for me." Percy rambled on because he wasn't sure if Grover would be up for the task.
