Friday
So, it had only been 4 hours since this day started, and I can already tell that it was gonna be one of those days when even my coffee needs a coffee.
We were lectured about parenting and were also given tips and ideas on how to be a great parent to your kids. First of all, I don't understand why we were lectured about that topic today because we were not in the pediatric department, we were studying gynecology, and I thought that has to do with women and the reproductive system? Secondly, Professor Gomez brought in this weird woman who claimed to be a famous mom, but none of us have even heard about her name before. Thirdly, I don't know how the hell I'm supposed to be a great mom because, you're telling me that if my kids suggest that we get vanilla ice cream for dinner and pick up a cute little dog on our way back home, I'm supposed to say no and act like that's not an awesome idea? Lmao, sorry, but I'm not fake!
Anyways, I was now back at home, dressed in my oversized hoodie while trying my best to not fall asleep on the couch. I was more than tired at that point, mainly because I had to walk back home, all the way from school. But, as much as that was draining, I might as well call it an adventure, because I've seen things. Weird things to be precise. Can you believe I witnessed police officers chasing a naked guy on a bike? I know right, even i don't believe me because I always thought nobody would be stupid enough to ride a bike naked, he looked absolutely hilarious with his hair all over the place. Man, those cops were angry!
And the weird part is that, I couldn't look away.
Back to the point, I was trying my very best to focus on this new, interesting book I bought a week ago called AFTER, but my mind was totally somewhere else. I couldn't stop thinking about that beautiful, beautiful kiss Trent and I shared yesterday. Thank goodness for Trina's work related rants, otherwise, I would've stayed up all night thinking about the kiss.
As y'all might know, I'm a foodie, I love anything just as long as it's food, but after yesterday, I can say that I've never tasted anything as tasty and as sweet as Trent's lips. They were so damn full, and warm, and pink. Just like a cup of strawberry milkshake heated up in the microwave, garnished with chocolate chip cookies and mint leaves. I know I should be feeling a bit weird about kissing my boss in my house, but I was actually feeling kinda good, I mean, there was zero level of awkwardness.
Well, maybe not yet, since I haven't seen him again after our little 'moment'
Just as I was about to open the second page of my book, the sound of the doorbell ringing forced me to stop and start wondering who it could be. Obviously not Trina because she's at work, Rosie wasn't even at school today due to her being sick with malaria, and Alex would never come to my house without calling or texting me because he always thinks he's gonna find me in an "inappropriate" state.
Yeah, that's the same guy who spends the entire day in his house roaming around in tight Calvin Klein boxers.
Anyways, I held my bad bitch back, closed my book, put on my furry slippers and marched towards the door with a little smile across my face, basically just trying to be nice for once in my life. I unlocked the door and pulled it open, thinking it would be someone completely irrelevant, but technically, I got the biggest shock of my entire life.
The intense smell of strawberry scented body mist and shea butter lotion was absolutely disgusting, but it also gave me a hint of who my 'visitor' could be without having to look at the person's face.
The one and only, Sabrina Garcia.
I'm not gonna lie, she looked absolutely amazing, I haven't seen her for two years, but I could tell that she upgraded herself to the next level. Her creamy brown skin was literally glowing as the sun hit it, her curly brown hair was even longer and tied up into this massive high bun. The simple black dress hugged unto her petite body perfectly, making her not so noticeable hips noticeable. She looked really good to be honest.
