He woke up at around 10 am. San was still in bed with a peaceful look on his face. Wooyoung traced over his face. His skin was smooth. His cheeks were slightly hallowed. He's done this so many times but this time felt different.
It felt weird. All my actions now could be his last. He's grown used to San. Last night he realized he couldn't hate him, but he wouldn't like him either. It was a neutral feeling. The San that's been existing for the past couple of days has been his favorite so far. He's helped him eat and took care of him.
He was sure it was now winter since he would put the heat on, and give hot chocolate every time Wooyoung shivered ever so slightly.
He woke up and smiled at Wooyoung, kissing his nose before getting up. He picked him up and set him on a chair that was in his kitchen. He pulled out eggs and rice with some crackers.
"Eat some crackers to settle yourself so you're
ready for real food," he said kissing Wooyoungs lips softly before heading back to the stove. He ate the crackers bit by bit. It was disgusting but it was somewhat a big help to keep everything down.
The knock on the door interrupted the comfortable silence. San and Wooyoung looked at each other with wide eyes till they heard the knock again but more frantic.
He turned the stove off before quietly heading to the door to look at the peephole. Wooyoung saw Sans eyes widen as he quickly yet quietly stepped away.
"Let's go." he said gabbing Wooyoung harshly. He dragged the boy to his room and took out a box. He didn't question it seeing he was too frantic to talk.
They went out quietly through the back door and leaped fences. Well, San did, Wooyoung was now holding the box while being in his arms. San ran and and ran. All Wooyoung was able to see was the house grow farther and farther. He screamed. He yelled and yelled hoping the police would come. He was able to hear the frantic screams of the officers and teens, along with a middle aged women as they made their way towards the back.
Then he looked, there he saw his mother against the gate crying her eyes out at the sight of her son being carried away. The police worked their way to jump over the fence. They were fast, but San was faster.
San finally sets Wooyoung down. They had been out for an hour now. They were far from his home now. He sat next to Wooyoung on a rock and put the boys head in his hands making eye contact with him.
"Listen Woo, they found us and we had to leave I'm sorry for all this," he said as he grabbed the box opening it. Wooyoung looked inside and saw all kinds of knives.
"We're gonna go somewhere far okay?" he said causing Wooyoung to snap his head towards him in fear.
He started crying. He didn't care anymore. He didn't care what San would do to him. He wanted to throw a tantrum. He wanted to scream and yell but he couldn't find his voice anymore. San held the boy tight but he only pushed away from him, Crying more and more. He had seen his mother. he wanted to run back but he was too weak.
He brought Wooyoung into his mess. This wasn't supposed to happen. He should've been at the police station, seeing my friends and parents. It was cold outside. Neither of them had jackets or anything in that matter.
His hands felt cold. His body was numb. Je looked at San and saw him tear up. San knew this was all his fault. Wooyoung wanted to let him know even more that it was. He wanted him to feel worse.
He opened his mouth but he couldn't bring himself to speak. He leaned back on the cold tree. He decided he would wait for San to fall asleep and make a run for it, hide from him and never look back.
"Wooyoung, you have to believe me, I didn't mean for this to happen," he said heartbroken. Wooyoung could only scoff and turn away, He felt San wrap his arms around him hoping to keep warm.
It had to have been 12pm by now. There was still a whole day ahead. He decided to just sleep time by considering there was nothing to do and He knew he was too weak to start escaping. Tonight he would do it. He would leave the dark haired male behind and go back to the way things were.
He drifted off by seeing San in the corner of his eye. He approached him carefully, holding a knife.
"I'm sorry," he heard San whispered before he felt pain shooting in his stomach. He couldn't move away as he kept going and going, not giving him a break till he decided enough was enough and did the same to himself over and over.
I'm dying
Wooyoung felt his vision start to blur. The trees were now just a weird fuzz of something on earth. He turned his head seeing San looking at him smiling.
"I love you." he whispered weakly as he moved closer to Wooyoung intertwining their hands. He held onto his back out of instinct and tried to find his voice.
Please help me
With tears in his eyes he gathered everything he could to talk. "I love you too," and they were both gone.
