MIDORIYA WENT AND RANG up his order.

He spotted his manager walking up to him behind the counter, initiating a conversation.

They talked about nothing specific, as they see eachother often during the weekdays Midoriya works.

A ring echoed, voicing the number that he was given while ordering. Giving a sheepish wave as goodbye, he went to pick up his drink.

Before he could grab his poncho and slide through the glass doors to leave, his emerald eyes caught sight on a familiar figure in a seat.

Midoriya instantly bit back a groan, memories of his childhood best friend becoming one of his biggest bullies was clear in his head.

His spiky blond hair was the same as always, Midoriya observed. Ruby red eyes, pissy attitude, and surprisingly, sitting with a group of happy outgoing people.

'Nopeoepeooepeoe' was an attempt to try to scurry out of there. Though, luck had decided he didn't need to leave.

"Midoriya! Is that you? Why you leaving without saying hello?"

He turned around and saw his coworker and upbeat friend, 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒗𝒆. Steve had his head popped out the door to the kitchen, where would cook the sweets.

He had a apron dusted with flour on, obviously worn proudly.

"Ah, sorry! I'm kinda in a hurry right now, but I'll talk to you next shift!"  Midoriya lightly yelled to him, since he was across the room.

With that he popped his hood up and hurried out the door and jogged off, coffee in hand.

Through the rain stained window Midoriya passed, he spotted the spiky blond's face twist with realisation and rush onto his feat.

Midoriya broke into a run, coffee grasped tightly in his hand. Behind him was the sound of the bell on the cafe door and a loud shout of his name was echoed.

Without hesitation, Midoriya ignored it and turned the corner into a long dark allyway.

Shoes were easily heard splashing in the rain puddles behind him as an attempt to follow.

Midoriya kept forward and ran fast. Quick thinking, he grabbed onto the nearest fire escape and climbing onto it. He slabbed his feet into the metal, grappling quick to get up.

As soon as Midoriya was in reach, he leapt to pull himself onto the building top.

He whipped around to face where he climbed and ducked down.

He carefully took off his backpack and laid it beside him, placing the coffee beside it, assuring the lid is still sealed.

As Midoriya peaked through the edge, he saw the blond, his hands booming with explosions of anger.

"Where'd you hide off to you bastard!" The teen shouted, looking around for him.

The blond obviously left the cafe in a rush, forgetting all about his umbrella inside.

He was beginning to get wet from the steady rain and his prickly hair was starting to droop down.

After a moment of silence, he ran off farther into the alleyway.

Midoriya sighed, thinking of his elementary personality,
'He's the same as when I last saw him.'

He had hoped that he would at least change a little and fix that anger issues of his since he's becoming a hero.

A hero, how lucky he was to get into UA with his large ego. Well, it isn't surprising with that quirk of his.

Midoriya stood up and looked into the distance at the sky. The dark clouds were starting to separate to reveal the morning sky. The rain would end soon.

With a thoughtful look, Midoriya bent down to pick up his items.

Taking a boiling sip of his coffee, he sealed it back and placed it firmly in the side of his bag to slung the straps around his shoulders.

Then, like any other Saturday.

He jumped.
