It was finally that day. The day I had been dreading for about 4 months now. The day that would change my whole life entirely. We're finally moving. Am I scared? Yes, am I nervous? For sure, am I happy? Kinda. I never wanted to move but since my sister's death 17 months ago, my parents and I can't handle living in the house that we made many wonderful memories in with her. My parents decided that we would move 5 months ago, but didnt tell me until a month later because they knew I'd be emotional on that month. Anyway, I finally pack my bags and place my boxes into the moving van. I cry as I say my goodbyes to my friends Finn, Jaeden, Sophia, Wyatt, Chosen and Jeremy. We're only moving one state away to Los Angeles, California, but anything would be good as long as it eases our pain. We get in the car, "are you ready Jack?" My mom asks, "umm yeah, let's go" I mutter and we finally head off.
*time skip to arrival at there new house*
We're finally here, after about 6 hours of driving we make it to our new house.

I get out of the car and take a look around "go on son, we got these boxes. Go take a look at your room" says my dad, "Okay cool" I reply. 6 hours later and it is 9pm. We finally finish decorating the house, I take especially long on my wardrobe. "Bedtime in a hour, you start your first day at your new school tomorrow and I want you to have a goodnight sleep" my mom says from down the hall. "YEP" I shout as she makes her way down stairs. I lay on my freshly made bed and watch tik toks for 30 minutes before changing to Instagram. I scroll through my feed and see a new post from my best friend Finn. I stop for a second and a tear falls from my eye as I see him posing with my friends Jaeden, Sophia and Jeremy. I quickly scroll past because I don't want to be reminded how much I miss them. 10 minutes later, I put my phone on charge and brush my teeth before I knock out.
