Chapter 1

Flashback:

It was a night that I will never forget.

All i know is that I'm his with my heart, my mind and my body.

I love him although his family hates me, and my family hates him.

He is my entire world...

Well he was my entire world until they took him away from me....

I run down the steps of my apartment complex.

It's been almost two weeks without him; emotional wreck would be an understatement for what I'm feeling.

I get into my car and I head to work.

I'm 20 years old and a proffesional make-up artist.

I work with a photography studio as their personal make-up artist.

"Good morning Kat" my co-worker smiles when I enter the studio.

"Good morning Jen" I smile. "What do I have today?" I ask.

"A bride to be, a family of three, engagement, and a maternity shoot" she says checking her clipboard.

"Sounds fun" I say heading to my studio and setting my make-up up.

I start the day off with the bride to be and I end my day with the couple expecting the baby.

I watch as the mommy to be wobbles back and forth. I finish her make-up and I watch as her and her husband take pictures all focusing on her full term baby bump.

When I get home my feet are aching.

I look at the countertop at the pregnancy test I've been avoiding for over the past three weeks.

I've had some symptoms. I've felt dizzy and nothing looks appetizing to my stomach.

My period is scheduled for next week so I'm not sure if I'm going to have it or not.

I sigh and I grab the pregnancy test.

It's time to know whether I'm carrying the baby of the love of my life or not.
