The School Trip

Chapter 2

Marinette's POV

"Hide Tikki" I told. "Okay" she responded and hid in my purse. "Hey Alya" I greeted my best friend out of breath. "Finally!" she groaned. "Hey! This time I wasn't too late..." Think, think, think!!! "Only 10 minutes" I said, remembering what Tikki had told me a couple of minutes ago. "Whatever! You can tell me your 'excuses' later. Let's go to the class. But QUICKLY!!!" she said and we both started walking, correction running to the class. "I'm wondering what does miss Bustier want to announce us..." I told her. "Guess we'll find out as soon as we get to the class" she replied.

No one's POV

                                            ~In the class~

"Good morning class!" miss Bustier said with a big smile. "Good morning miss Bustier!" everyone replied. "Miss, yesterday you said you wanted to announce us something" Kim said. "Aaah yes! Thanks for reminding me Kim!" miss Bustier thanked him. "Ni problem miss!" he replied with a proud smile. "I want to announce-" she got interrupt because Marinette and Alya entered the class panting. "Sorry we're late!" said Alya dragging Marinette back to their seats. "At least you're not too late" miss Bustier said and smiled at the girls. "Told ya!" Marinette whispered to Alya. "Whatever!" Alya whispered back. "Anyway" miss Bustier began. "What I wanted to tell you is that we're going to the forest for camping-"once again, miss Bustier got interrupt but this time because of the whole class. Everyone was cheering, clapping and chatting with each other. "Class, class!" she said raising her voice and clapping her hands and then everyone went silent. "Let me tell you some things about the trip and after that, I'll let you cheer and chat as much as you want for the last 10 minutes. Ok??" the class nobbed in agreement and she continued. "We will go in two weeks: from Friday morning to Sunday evening. As I told you, we'll be going camping, but don't worry the school is going to provide us with tents and you'll be two persons per tent."

Adrien's POV

Miss Bustier is explaining some things but I can't focus on what she is saying 'cause I'm sooo excited!! And that's until one question popped in my mind 'Will my father even let me go to the school trip???' Suddenly, an annoying and too familiar voice brought me back to reality. 'Chloé'. I thought and guess what, I was correct. 'Uhhhh! What does she want this time!?'. "Adrikins!!! Do you want to be together?" she asked me making puppy eyes. Instantly, I started making up excuses in my mind to avoid her. "Sorry Chloé bu-" I started but, thank goodness,I wasn't able to finish my sentence thanks to miss Bustier who interrupted me. I sigh in relief. "I will pair you up and it's going to be girls with girls and boys with boys!" she said a little angry by Chloé's attitude. "Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!" Chloé said walking back to her seat. "Anyway!" miss Bustier continued "Let's get back to the lesson. Kim?" she said. "Yes miss?" Kim asked her. "Thanks again for reminding me. Now can you please remind me what we had for today?" she asked raising an eyebrow. Kim went pale! His eyes widened and everyone started laughing.

Kim's POV

'Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. HOLLY SHIT!!!' I thought not knowing what to say. Actually, I reminded miss Bustier about the announcement in order not to have any lesson. 'Well done Kim!' Now everyone is laughing and I'm standing there like a statue. I am for sure pale and my eyes are wide. 'Shit!!!' "Uhhh....". At least I managed to say something, laugh nervously and scratch the back of my neck. 'Well done Kim!'
