~ Time Skip to the day of the trip (a/n: finally!😂)~
Marinette's POV
Today is the day! Finally! I woke up before my alarm. Even Tikki isn't up yet!
I was super excited! I quickly got to the kitchen and ate breakfast, careful not to make any noise because my parents were still asleep, like my kwami.
As soon as I finished eating, my mom came in the kitchen. "Oh! Good morning sweetheart!" She said with a sweet smile after blinking a couple of times.
I slightly giggled at her reaction. "Good morning to you too, mom!" I said back, kissing her cheek and rushed to my room.
Tikki was still sleeping and slightly snoring. 'cute'I thought and smiled to myself.
I grabbed my towel and headed to the bathroom. I did my morning routine and after brushing my hair, I styled it in a high ponytail.
I decided to wear something simple. Shorts with a ladybug on the one side and a pink buggy T-shirt with red dots. (A/n: still not good at describing clothes, I drew it for y'all!)

I grabbed my red hat and my backpack but Tikki stopped when I told her to get into it.
"What's wrong Tikki?" I asked my kwami, slightly titling my head in confusion.
Tikki's POV
"I'm sorry Marinette. I won't be able to come with you..." I answered my holder's question.
I was trying to sound and look sad and I think I did it, judging by her concerned look.
"Oh...I'm so sorry Tikki..." she hugged me and then I told her why I wouldn't be with her.

"So, you're saying that you and Chatnoir's kwami, er...Plagg..., visited master Fu and told him we would be away till Sunday evening and he wants you two to stay here? Why?"
"Well, since you and Chat Noir will be out of town, someone has to stay here in case of an emergency. That's why Plagg and I are staying. Master Fu knows a way to turn kwamis to humans. So, if an akuma attacks while both of the heroes are away, we will take care of it. That way, you two will be able to enjoy your weekend"
There was silence for a while. 'Please believe it! Please believe it! Please believe it!' I kept thinking.
"Ok...Since master said so" Mari said shrugging her shoulders. I flew to her cheek and hugged it.
Marinette's POV
"Now go! And have fun!" Tikki said. I waved goodbye to my little , adorable kwami and headed downstairs.
