Chapter 5 - Abberswyth - Part 1

"Ahh, here she is" Jonn exclaimed

Kara flew in, Swoosh. Her cape causing papers to fall of the desk. Some agents swung into action scrambling papers off the floor.

"What's got you all glowly" Alex grinned as she winked

Kara dismissed her comment trying to look serious but Alex was not fooled deduced by the smirk that spread across her face.

Kara 'What's up"?

"17th street downtown, bank robbery" Jonn explained.

And with a Swoosh supergirl was gone, again causing things to fall of the desk. While one of the agents started complaining "we really need to get some paperwieghts in here".

Supergirl glided down towards the ground one foot touching the ground before the next, instantly she noticed people running in all directions. The screams, the cars honking, the bank alarm ringing, crickets buzzing and most of all the gun shots. Chttchh ptchoo ptchoo ptchoo. Supergirl flew into the bank crashing a hole through the glass as she went.

Kara assessed the people in the bank, she used her x-ray vision to scan the place, for guns,for something stolen, for anything unusual. That was when Kara realised, nothing was robbed, however people; in fact four children were lying on the floor crying in agony, but from the x-ray Kara took none of them had broken bones and they clearly were not bleeding. Supergirl also spotted a figure running in a burgundy hoodie from outside the bank to through an alleyway.
Supergirl had to make a choice, chase the suspect or help the children. Suddenly another superhero crashed from the ceiling into the bank. Dressed in a red suit with a blue cape bellowing after him. It was Valor, or otherwise to Kara it was Monel.

"Thank Rao" kara sighed relived.
"Help those children". Supergirl told Valor.
"What's wrong with them" Valor asked
"I'm not sure, but I have a suspect and he....." Supergirl said unfinished, supergirl was gone, chasing after the hooded subject.

Valor, puzzelled, picked up the children carefully two of them pulled over his shoulders in a firemans lift and the other two he wrapped his arms around, carrying them and speeding off to the closest hospital.

He helped each of them onto separate wheeled beds which were rushed quickly to A&E but before they disappeared Monel noticed them beginning to seizure, a worried look spread across his face.

Supergirl was on chase, she caught another glimpse of the dark red hooded figure before a swarm of wasps covered her view, supergirl crossed both arms I'm front of her face to fly through the swarm however it wasn't very effective,Kara weirdly felt a small sharp scratch on her neck before she ended up crashing through a building.

Just after dropping the children at the hospital. Valor was congratulated with applause as he left the building. Someone shouted "what do we call you?"
That's when Monel remembered this century doesn't know him and he announced"Valor" proudly.

Valor and supergirl returned back to the DEO.

"I lost him" Kara admitted.

"That's okay, don't worry, we'll find him"

"But I noticed something strange." Kara said

"Yeah me too" Monel added

"Nothing was stolen" kara told Jon

"The children didnt seem hurt, no bleeding or fractures but some off them starting seizing when I dropped them off at the hospital." Monel said

"I think we're dealing with something more complex than a robbery here" Alex suggested.
