Chapter 5: My Sunshines

Taeil sniffled as he sat down on the curb. Backpack swung around his shoulders. T-shirt clinging onto his shoulders and drenching with sweat. Arms clinging around his knees. The day had begun to set and he was long gone from his old home.

He would of went to Youngho's if he knew how to get there. He was lost, hungry, tired, sick, and not too long ago he had found out he was with child.

He thought over and over again. Is this what it takes for him to finally kick me out? Did he really get tired of his sixteen year old son that much to lie to his face and throw him out? All Taeil wanted to do was curl up and shrivel away into darkness.

That was until a small voice spoke to him. It was so small that Taeil thought he was hearing things. That he had finally gone crazy or that this was all a dream and his brother was waking him up from this nightmare.

"Hello, sweetie are you okay?" And that is how his new life began.

"Youngho can you take the twins today? You know I have a late shift at the clu- no I need the extra money. Yes. No. Mhm. Thank you, hyung" Taeil rolled his eyes and hung up the phone. It was always like this when he had to work a late shift at the club. Well really ever since the twins were born.

"Sweeties wake up" Taeil cooed at his twin boys all snuggled up next to each other in their crib. He smiled and leaned down scooping both of the toddlers in his arms and patting their backs. The older one of the two, Donghyuck had started crying not liking the new position on his father's chest.

"Shh, it's okay hyuckie daddy's here" he shushed and kissed the boy's forehead. The youngest twin Yangyang was fully awake giggling at his older brothers grumpiness.

Donghyuck pouted and curled up into his father's chest, breathing softly. "Come on it's time to wake up now, baby. Got to get up and go to daycare hm?" Donghyuck's face lightened up and he pushed off his father's chest Yangyang doing the same. Taeil chuckled and sat his twins down on the floor.

The both stood up and ran towards their closet.

"kume oni papa" Donghyuck giggled and waited for Taeil to open the door so they could get ready. Donghyuck was much more of a talker than Yangyang but Yangyang was much more active and rambunctious than his counterpart.

"Stinky" Yangyang whispered and pinched his nose. "Leave meh lone meanoe" Donghyuck sailed smacking his brother's shoulder. Yangyang glared at Donghyuck and hit him back just as hard. "Hey hey, you two stop hitting. What did I tell you two about hitting each other?" Donghyuck shrugged his shoulders and humphed looking away from his brother and dad.

"You want a spankie, hyuck" Taeil said sternly "sorry papa" Donghyuck frowned and hugged Yangyang, Yangyang smiled and hugged his brother back.

"Alright what are we wearing today?" Taeil chuckled helping the two toddlers get ready.

After taking them both a bath and feeding them brown sugar and syrup oatmeal (it wasn't that healthy but Taeil couldn't just say no to the pouting boys) he took them to the door and helped the put their shoes on. "And don't forget boys Daddy is picking you up from daycare today, okay"

"Daddy!!" Donghyuck yelled jumping up and down. Yangyang smile got wider and he started jumping along with his brother. Taeil laughed at his two toddlers and kneeled down to their height.

"You love papa more right?" Yangyang immediately nodded his head and hugged his papa but Donghyuck took a second before agreeing. "Love you most papa~" Taeil chuckled and kissed Donghyuck on the cheek "that's my baby"

"Me too me too~" Yangyang shouted moving his cheek closer towards Taeil. "Of course, sunshine" Taeil cooed and kissed the boy's cheek. "Alright let's get going before you miss color time"

Yangyang scrunched his face and ran out the door as soon as Taeil opened it. "Hurry, hyuckie!"

Taeil smiled as he watched the other boy hurry after his brother. He looked back to his small apartment before closing the door and locking it. They didn't have much but all he really needed was his two little sunshines.

"Come on papa!"

Short chapter

So the main story is now in session lmao took me 5 chapters.

So here's a story break down so far.

-Taeil finds out he is pregnant,
-His father kicks him out of the house
-He meets the 'mysterious' person who gives him a place to stay.
-He has Hyuck and Yang at 17
-When he turns 18 the 'mysterious' person gives him a job at the "club"
-Him and Youngho are not together and never were but Youngho does see his kids.
-Taeil is now 22 and the twins are 5
