Kinesis Force: Origins

Threat

X, Keith, Tre and the rest of the young people exit out of the portal. The sense of fear and confusion shook the very core of their existence. Everyone wondered the same thing, who was that guy and what was his intentions. X looked around. He had completed his mission but the results would be the same if they didn't train them. Liz was in the middle of the room where they teleported, crying and screaming hysterically.

"Hey, Hey, Liz, Calm down, we're safe for now!" James assured.

"It was him, the man from my dreams, how could he be alive?! He was killed along with the woman but why, why was he there?" Liz contemplated.

Ever since Liz could remember, she had been having nightmares, the same reoccurring dream over and over, a dream filled with blood, tears, regret, hate and pain.

"Tsk, we're clearly being target by that organization, right, X!" Jason said.

"Yeah, I knew this wouldn't be the last we've seen of them. That just means we need to move quicker. Hey, listen you two. Whether you choose to accept it or not your powers are a gift! Evil is brewing in this small country and will be even greater around the world! Its time you used those powers for the greater good of man!" X declared.

The young people in the room all thought the same thing, "We have to protect the world!" Meanwhile, the man that was sent to assassinate X, was being assessed for damages. The nanites that were flowing through his body, enabled him to transform any part of his body in a weapon. It also allowed his mind to be resistant to MIND control and he had superhuman strength, durability, speed, reflexes and his lock-on eye that allows to never miss his target. He was given the codename "Reaper".

"Broken arm, crushed ribs, fractured leg, he's lucky his body is infused with nanites or else he would've been dead." one of the scientists concluded.

"Sir, I think It would be wise if those two went after him! We can't risk having him captured or killed, especially since the other one isn't near completion!" another man suggested.

"Well, I suppose your right. They've had a lot of time to reflect on their failures. Lima! King! Come here!" the head scientist called.

A man and a woman appeared from behind a door. The man was called King because he had the resolve of a lion, considered to be the king of the jungle. His power was called Fauna-Energy Manipulation. This power allowed him to absorb the natural energy given off by animals, giving him their abilities. The woman was called Lima. She had a 'vibrating' personality. Her power is called Brontekinesis. This allowed her to manipulate thunder. After their loss to X and Jason, they were severely punished. Their actions sickened the scientist. 'Disgusting' was the word he used to describe them. 'How could you let one guy knock both of you out even after immobilizing the kid?' 'Useless' was another word they were called. The scientist had no regard for human life. His only wish was to gain more scientific knowledge through human experiments. He lusts for more power. That is his sin.

"You're now assigned with Reaper. Don't fail me this time, or I'll make him take your heads." he warned.

Meanwhile, X was attempting to train Liz in an attempt to help her control her powers. He explained that the pills she took only made things worse and that if she stopped taking them, she'll be able to control it better. Liz's power is similar to X's. She can open portals to other worlds and dimensions. She can also set portals in different places ahead of time and use as a means of escape or to trap enemies. She also has another ability called Nightmare Teller. This allows her to cause persons to hallucinate by seeing and living out their deepest and darkest fears. She can also use her spatial powers to send a force at her opponents pushing them backwards. Her brother, James, has a power adjacent to hers. He has the ability of Chronokinesis which allows him to control all aspects of time. He can freely move through time, has lightning quick reflexes and can reverse the time of an object or human or speed it up. He can trap enemies in an infinite time loop, that seems like years but is only a few seconds in real life. The thought of reliving a single moment over and over is enough to break the human psyche and is strong enough to cause someone to go brain dead killing them instant. With his ability he can reverse the effects of aging and any injuries suffered. Since Time and Space go hand in hand, they are even dangerous together as the have to power to break the space time continuum. Hence, they were given the name 'Twin Destruction'.

"Good Job Liz! It seems like your getting a better control of opening portals. But you're far from we're you could be!" X said with excitement. "Tre, you'll need a blade, specifically a sword or scythe, to go with your powers. The wind that you generate from the swing of your weapon could be used to slice through objects. There's more to your power than just increasing sharpness. Theo, Jason, you guys have good control over your powers already but you have even reached the beginner level. We don't know when they'll make a move so be on guard."

"What do you mean beginner level?" Theo asked.  

"There are different levels to what your power can do. At master level you will have complete control of pyrokinesis. Once you achieve this level, it is referred to as Total Mastery. Tsk. You guys don't even understand your true potential!" X explained.

"X? It's getting late. My mummy is gonna kill me." Keith said.

"You're right, you guys should head home. Its not safe for Liz and James to go home, you guys will stay with me." X explained.

Theo, Tre, and Keith all headed home and X carried the twins to a hotel. X explained to them along the way that his friend from the agency would come to watch over them and that he had some investigating to do. Realizing that they had no other choice but to hide for now, they went along with what he was saying. When they arrived at Atlantis Hotel, X paid for their rooms and ordered pizza. He left them with instructions to not come out the hotel to wait on Agent VI.

"Well I guess we betters make the most of it." James said with a sigh.

"Yeah, I can't believe all of this is happening. I doubt I'll be able to control my powers in an actual fight." Liz responded.

"Hey Sis, don't worry about it. I'll always be here to protect you no matter what. I'm sure you'll be able to do it!" James assured.

Liz smiled. Her brother always knew how to make her feel better and this strengthened their bonds. The two then decided on what to watch and both agreed on anime in unison. They laughed and for a moment they had forgotten what had that day until they heard a knock on their door. Liz went to open the door but received a bad omen. Before she could react Lima, King and Reaper barged in the room attacking the two teenagers. Liz tried to use her spatial powers to escape via portal but Lima sent a jolt of thunder in her direction, knocking her out. James used his time controlling powers in order to move at superhuman speed but Reaper was able to detect him and captured him. He electrocuted him and knocked him out. The group left with the teenagers and left behind a message. A few moments went by and VI arrived to the seen of police and nosy bystanders. She instantly realized that she was too late.
