The Dream

"X...X... Wake up son, Earth needs you, the blood of my children cry's out to me. The wickedness of the people will bring many suffering. You must stop it. WAKE UP!"

"HUH?! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" X exclaimed, as he awoken from his dream.
X had been away from Earth for a few years. He couldn't cope with the fact that he couldn't save his friends, when they needed him the most. "Damn, I really don't want to, but I guess have no choice," X thought to himself. He immediately got dressed and opened a portal to the Agency. The Agency is a place somewhere in the universe, which all agents meet, interact and exchange information about various life forms and planets. They use this information to determine potential bad guys and universal threats. VI or Agent 6 has been working as both Earth's protector and a planet called Nephyr a newly discovered planet in the Milky Way Galaxy.
"X! Where have you been? I've had to pick up on your shift since you left Earth. I was worried about you," VI said, with a mix of concern and anger.
"Yeah, I'm sorry about that. Father sent me another vision and I couldn't ignore it this time. I think its time I go back, for real this time," X replied.
"Listen, you can't change what happened all those years ago, Earth needs you. A lot of crazy stuff has happened over the last 50 years. Crime is at an all time high and Governments are panicking. It's time you start recruiting again!" VI explained.
X nodded his head. He knew she was right and it was time to go back home. X went to the data centers and reviewed the events of earth from the last 50 years. He watched with amazement and sorrow and wondered why he missed the last 50 years of humanity's growth. However, he understood that the amount of kinetics has drastically increased and fueled more persons to commit crimes. Then, he found his first recruit and journeyed to Earth.
Meanwhile, a group of mercenaries, were escorting containers filled with chemicals and other drugs for human experimentation. A young man, who was on his way to school, just so happened to come across the mercenaries.
"BEY, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE, DO YOU WANNA DIE," one of the men asked.
The young man smiled, before sending one of the mercenaries flying through the air.
"Bey, watch out, he's one of those freaks, TAKE HIM ALIVE," one of the soldiers ordered. All of the men began to open fire on the young man but all of their bullets were halted into the air and sent back at them, injuring them in the process. He proceeded to enter the building where more guards awaited.
"Don't you guys get it, you can't beat me with guns," the young man said. He used his powers and crushed the guns with his telekinetic abilities. The mercenaries really had no answer to him and their screams of pain echoed through the room.
'Arghh'
One by one the guards fell but throughout the chaos. The young man let his guard down and was attacked from his blind spot. The guard had used a special weapon that temporarily disrupts all kinetic abilities.
"Finally, we got another one! The boss will be ecstatic about him. He has a unique power that is rare among kinetics."
Several more guards came and put restraints on him, but they were stopped by sudden crash. Agent X arrived and the scene instantly changed. He instantly appeared behind the guards and took them out with ease. He broke off the restraints from the young man and introduced himself.
"You got skills kid, I've been looking for you. I'm X, I need you!"
"Who you is bey? How the hell you do that?"
"Don't worry about that right now, we have bigger problems!"
Just as the exchange of words ended, an old, bearded guy and two other persons, male and female entered the room.
"You know I've experimented on a lot of kinetics in my days, but I've never had none quite like you. Being able to control objects and others with the power of telepathy, you are truly a rare specimen," the bearded man exclaimed.
"Who are you," X asked. "What do you want?"
"Want?! Hmph, I desire this young man's power. He will be the key to human evolution," the bearded man responded. "King, Lima, Take him alive!"
The man charged at X, while the woman targeted the kid. X instantly realized that both of the attackers were kinetics. The man's body began to change its shape and resembled a lion. He went on all fours and struck X. Meanwhile, the young man, who hadn't fully recovered from having his powers shut off, was having problems dealing with the woman, who's power resembled thunder. She sent multiple, powerful thunder waves at him and he was barely able to defend himself from it. X on the other hand was able to dodge most of the attacks thrown at him but he realized that at this point he was only wasting stamina. He quickly put space in front of him and his opponent and opened a portal. After sometime, the two attackers thought that X had abandoned the kid and both targeted him. Just then X reappeared and punched the woman into a wall, temporarily disabling her. He then went back into the portal just as the man went at him. Before he got the chance to attack the kid, X reappeared beneath him and dragged half of his body down before closing the portal causing his body to be stuck in the ground.
"Why didn't you do that from the get go? We could've dealt with these guys already," the kid asked.
"Opening portals drain a lot of my energy. If I had opened a next one, I would've passed out from exhaustion and you would've been screwed," X replied.
"Well, I guess I can't argue with that. Thanks," the kid replied. "I never got the chance to introduce myself, I'm Keith Smith!"
The two shook hands and left. They decided to rest at Keith's home.
"Reports are coming in that a warehouse belonging to Bald Eagle Industries has been attacked by unknown men. Multiple men has been injured... No deaths confirmed... More news will be available only on ZNS."
"More shooting incidents, what the heck has been going on," Keith's mom questioned.
"Okay, she's busy watching the news. We could sneak in through the back door while she's distracted," Keith said. Keith lead X to the back door and waited for his mother to go in her room. Then he opened the door and ushered X into his room.
"You could rest here, I could get you a cup of water or something," Keith said.
"I'm fine, I just need to rest but first I must explain what's happening," X replied.
