Groggy morning

8 A.M.

It was a beautiful sunday morni- no wait, cut the crap. This wasn't a beautiful morning, I was woken up too early, I was feeling very annoyed and it was one of those mornings where you don't really expect something good to come out of it, or so I thought....

I was awoken by that beautiful sound people these days don't hear as much as they used to.

A ringtone. Yes, I was awoken by my ringtone at 8 frickin' A.M on a sunday morning. Who does that?

This better be an emergency or I really am going to lose it.

I pulled my charger cord out of my phone and answered the call while turning around in my bed. The early morning call came from my long time best friend, Skye

"Bethany! Bethany!"
"That's me"
"You have got to watch the video I sent you!"
"And that has to happen right now? It's frickin' 8 A.M and it's a sunday"
"Right, I know, it's just, I know you won't be mad at me anymore once you've watched the video. You're going to flip"

I could already see her grinning.

"Fine, but if it doesn't have the effect you think it will have and you woke me up too early to watch a make-up tutorial or something to help you with your outfit of today I will totally kill you."
"Hey! Not so mean! You know what? If you don't like it, I'll finally tell Adam how I really feel at school tomorrow."

For those who don't know, Skye has had a crush on Adam for god knows how long. He's one of our good friends at school. She just never had the guts to tell him how she really felt about him.

"Damn, that's a tricky thing to say. You must be really sure of yourself"
"Of course I am, you know me ;). But stop this and just go already"
"Fine I'll hang you up then"
"No! I wanna hear your reaction. Watch the video on your laptop"
"Damn, you're demanding today. Fine just wait a sec"

I left my phone in my room and walked downstairs to grab my laptop and while we're near the kitchen anyway, why don't I grab something to eat as well.

I walked up the stairs again, and got comfortably seated on my king size bed. Not to brag ;).

"Alright I'm back"
"Yeez, why did it take you so long?"
"A girl has got to eat"

As I was entering my laptop, Skye kept on going about how she thought my resction was going to be.

She really made me think your royal highness had invited me to dinner or something. I opened Whatsapp on my laptop and clicked on my convo with Skye. The little 1 disappeard and the it was, a video. The title of the video read: "Shawn Mendes reacting to songs sung by fans"

Oh god, my heart started pounding. I clicked on the video and started watching.

The content of the video was Shawn who reacted to multiple covers sung by different people. His reactions were so sweet and nice. My heart just melted.

"Are you watching it?"
"Yeah, shhhhh"

And that's when it happened...

My face suddenly appeared on the screen....
