Part thirteen.

Mel's p.o.v.

School is finished and I told Luke he could go home and that I'm going to Emerald's house.

We arrived at her house, May and Michael walk in and I stand outside awkwardly.

" Well are you going to come in or not?" May laughs, I laugh awkwardly and walk in, its actually a really nice house.

My tummy is going mad with butterflies, I'm so nervous.

"Em, I ran into Mel and she's here now!" May shouted no where in particular.

"She's here!" Someone shouts, a girl walks into the room she had dark ginger hair. She was really pretty.

I think it was Emerald, she looked a lot like our dad, I was told I look more like my mam.

She stops when she sees me. "Wow, you are beautiful" she smiles, I smile.

"Thank you, you are too"

Another girl comes down the stairs with brown hair, she was also very pretty.

"Hey you must be Mel" she smiles at me and hugs me.

"Yeah, Umm"

"Kate, I'm Em's friend" she smiled.

I have gotten to know them very well, they are super nice as well.

"So... Mel... any men in your life?" Em asked wiggling her eyebrows.

I smile thinking about Luke, but then Michael came into my head, what. I can't like Michael, he's like a brother.

"Umm, yeah" I smile, she makes a weird noise, I don't know how to explain.

"His name is Luke" I say, she aw's.

"Is he your boyfriend, you guys seem super close?" May asked me.

"No but we were friends since I moved here, that was when I was 5 years old, when dad died him and his mum took me in to live with them" I smile thinking about him. He makes me so happy.

"You love him don't you" Kate asks.

"What? no" I say.

"Its so obvious, your thinking about him and you can't stop smiling, when you talk about him your face lights up, girl you do love him" Em says.

"Yea OK" I say sarcastically. I don't think I love him, I don't know what love is.

"Yea and that Michael guy is always looking at you and flirting, I think he likes you" May says.

"No he doesn't" I say.

"See you soon" I smiled giving them all hugs.

"You've gotta let me meet Luke" Em smiled as I pull out of the hug.

"Yea sure, I'll bring him around some day" I told her.

"Tomorrow?" She asks excitedly.

"Umm... OK sure" I smile.

"But don't you dare mention anything about me liking him" I told her and left.

I rang Luke asking him to pick me up.

A few minutes later he pulls up in the drive way.

"Hey Luke" I smile and kiss him on the cheek as I get into the car, he smiles at me.

"Hey Mel, how was it?" He asks.

"It was amazing, I've always wanted a sister and now I have one, one that's super nice" I smile, as he pulls out of the drive way and drives off.

"That's good" he smiles quickly at me and looks back at the road.

He turns on the radio and a Nirvana song came on, we start singing to it and laughing every time we sang different words.

He pulled up at the house and we got out.

We walked in and the smell of spaghetti hit us. We walked over to the dinner table and sat down.

Liz put the dinner in front of us and we ate. After food I helped Liz was the dishes, I said goodnight to them both and went to bed.

She finally met her sister, yey!!! They're already really close.

Do you think Michael likes her? What will happen if he does? She likes Luke.
