After they met and got to know each other and then gave him a tour which they showed him their dorm and he sat in a chair and began sleeping they went with it for now

Timeskip

When ruby woke up she looked around and yawned she rubbed her eyes to see gran was missing and the rest of her teammates were still asleep so she got out of bed and went to the bathroom door and opened it but she saw a shirtless gran brushing his teeth ruby turned and closed the door silently and walked back to her bed when she laided back down her face turned red with embarrassment from the shirtless gran and how he looked but she noticed that her sister was waking up and blake so ruby acted like she saw nothing and calmed down yang asked

Yang: hey where is gran

ruby got up and said she saw him enter the bathroom yang then thought about it so she walked up to the door with a devilish smile and slowly pulled the door open and fully opened to show a shirtless gran still brushing his teeth and he looked over to his right and noticed the girls were looking at him and at this point weiss was waking up saying

Weiss:can you keep it down im trying to sleeee

She stopped and looked at the  shirtless gran everyone was red in the face but gran quickly shut the door and came out a minute later with his shirt on and left the room all the girls were thinking the same a shirtless gran protecting them with his gear on without his shirt but they got ready and left

Breakfast was mostly silent apart from nora talking about her two ursa dream pyrrha saw gran struggle with ordering so she asked over

Pyrrha: gran you alright

She asked and saw him looking through the options from eggs to bacon until gran answered

Gran: well I don't know what most of this is

Pointing to the pancakes and eggs pyyra giggled and said

Pyrrha: those are pancakes and eggs why not try some

gran sighed then looked at the image

Gran:well were I was from resources were very tight and then the "grimm" took more of my village we could barely keep alot of livestock so meat and animal products were rare

pyrrha then looked at gran with concern so did everyone else

Yang: what happened

Gran: well it hard to tell because everything was so simple but then it went right into confusing at a certain point let's just say we did so crazy things you wouldn't believe in four months

Ruby: how much could you do in four months

Gran: you have no idea

Gran smiled as he remembered everything that happened

Nora: so what are you having for breakfast

Gran: I don't know yet

Then they heard a loud noise which when it ended gran had his stomach

Gran: ugh man it's been forever since I eaten

Blake: why's that and how come you were fine before

Gran: well you see I'm scout we were trained to be effective and efficient so I could stay up four days with one night of rest

Weiss: really how could thay happen

Gran: the scouts have to be like that since we would go out and battle the "grimm" in their well our own territory

Nora: how about this

Nora pointed at a picture of a huge breakfast

Gran: uh sure why not

Gran then got this at the food service station and then came back he sat down and picked up his fork and took a peice of sausage and then bite down his eyes shrunk as this was the best thing he ever tasted

Ruby: uh gran you alright

He began devouring the entire plate as he shoved a whole pancake into his mouth and chewed a bit then quickly swallowed he destroyed the eggs and the other things on the plate this suprised them as he finished the meal within a minute then he drank his water

Gran: that was good

Weiss: how

Gran: what

Blake: how did you eat all of that in a minute

Gran: well eh I don't know but It works

Everyone continued to eat but then it was time for class the first was ports class which he sat in the frount of the class after they sat down port started his rambling like always of his younger days on how he defeated a group of Beowulfs without his weapon gran then remembered how some soldiers with desperation attacked titans with only broken gear which was their death sentence then gran rasied his hand

Gran: wasn't there a way to out maneuver the Beowulfs and get your weapon to then even the odds

Port: well well well we have a great tactician yeah there was a way but this taught me to not always rely on your weapon for everything

Gran: ah I see but it would be more efficient to think of every possibility like running away losing the Beowulf's then come back to retrieve your weapon and hunt them down one by one

The students who were still awake started to listened in on this conversation

Port: that would be a good plan but to always think in situations like that would be hard when they enemy could attack at any minute

Gran: oh I see but it's good to learn how to make a decision quickly

Port: alright then you are a wonderful judge of battle and plans

Gran: well I had some experience but for now battling with hands would work in some situations but if you accidentally attract more grimm then weapons would be a great help even if you have a power up

Port: power up

Gran: uh I mean semblance

Port raised an eyebrow as gran shifted a little in his seat

Port: alright then let's test your theory gran please come down with you weapon

Gran was confused but he got up and he had his odm gear in his backpack then brought it out which port took it and placed it over on the other side of the room then brought out a crate that contained a grimm

Port: alright then gran let's see how you deal with a Beowulf while your gear is away from you

Gran then nodded as he got ready then port blasted the lock off quickly out of the cage came a Beowulf then it looked around it first almost went to the students but then it sensed a giant negative emotion when it looked it saw gran standing there without his weapon it charged at him but he did as well but quickly gran slid under the Beowulf which crashed into the wall but gran quickly began equipping the gear and then he took the handles and pulled out two swords just as the Beowulf recovered it charged again but gran smiled as he launched his hooks up onto the roof and let the Beowulf crash into the other wall then he let go and stabbed it which his sword went through it's body and even stuck into the floor then it disappeared

Port: well done we are in the presence of a true huntsmen

Gran then pulled his blade out of the floor and sliced the air as he placed the sword back into it's resting place and placed the handle onto it's holder on his harness he walked back to his seat and awkwardly sat down since he still had his gear on everyone was suprised by grans plan and such and how he defeated the Beowulf

Timeskip

It was training which they sat down and listened to glynda gran got the jist of what the class was about how it was training for other humans or fanus since most jobs do require it what they didn't know gran was very good in hand to hand combat since his training required such things he volunteered first but then team CRDL volunteered to go against him glynda was suprised that gran wanted to go first but she allowed it and gran got in without his gear while CRDL went in fully geared then gran got ready as glynda was about to start the match
